Всем привет!	Hello everyone!
Впервые я побывала в замечательном маленьком волжском городе Плёсе во время круиза по Волге в июне 2018 года. Наш корабль был там на стоянке несколько часов, и мы могли сами погулять по городу после экскурсий.	I first visited the wonderful small Volga town of Plyos during a cruise on the Volga in June 2018. Our ship was parked there for several hours, and we were able to walk around the city ourselves after the excursions.
Тогда я и сделала эти фотографии. Мы с подругой возвращались с Соборной горы, и нам открылся вот такой замечательный вид на противоположный берег реки Шохонки.	That's when I took these photos. My friend and I were returning from Cathedral Mountain, and we were treated to such a wonderful view of the opposite bank of the Shokhonka River.

Плёс – холмистый город. Подниматься на его возвышенности немного тяжеловато. Но это компенсируется видами со смотровых площадок. Хотя Плёс и имеет статус города, но он очень небольшой, меньше 2000 жителей. Одно- и двух-этажные дома живописно расположились на высоком волжском берегу.	Plyos is a hilly town. Climbing up to its height is a bit difficult. But this is compensated by the views from the observation decks. Although Plyos has the status of a city, it is very small, less than 2000 inhabitants. One- and two-story houses are picturesquely located on the high Volga bank.
Белая колокольня относится к Церкви Варвары Великомученицы. И также можно увидеть деревянную Воскресенскую церковь на горе Левитана.	The White Bell Tower belongs to the Church of Barbara the Great Martyr. And you can also see the wooden Church of the Resurrection on Mount Levitan.
