¡Hola queridas Damas de Hive! Espero que se encuentren todas muy bien. Hoy me pasó nuevamente por acá para participar de los temas de la semana que me parecieron bastante interesantes. Me encanta este ejercicio de pensar en las respuestas, puede resultar iluminador en cierto sentido. Te hace poner en palabras lo que deseas o te gustaría que ocurriera.
Bueno, sin más preámbulos ¡Vamos a ellas!

Si tuvieras la fama garantizada por el destino, ¿cuál sería el motivo de tu fama? ¿Por qué serías famoso?

La respuesta sería una influencer de libros. Ser esa persona que siguen porque da buenas recomendaciones de lecturas, la contactan editoriales para mandarle libros gratis para reseñar y publicitarlos. Además de participar en reuniones con otros lectores y actores del mundo editorial. Me encanta este mundo y estoy en ese camino, solo que voy más lento que lo requerido para brillar en este escenario.
Antes de conocer Hive me hice un Bookstagram, que es un Instagram dedicado a libros. Todavía lo tengo y sigo actualizándolo, solo que también requiere bastante trabajo y esfuerzo llevarlo adelante, tener buenas ideas y tratar de destacar entre el mar de otras cuentas que se dedican a lo mismo. En algún punto me di cuenta de que quizá no lo estaba disfrutando tanto porque se requiere publicar seguido, sino queda en el olvido. No es la plataforma más amigable por todo el tema de los algoritmos, pero es una que me gusta, ya que soy buena escribiendo y no haciendo videos. Eso no es lo mío.
En fin, como empecé a sentir presión por leer rápido para tener cosas que subir se terminó convirtiendo en una obligación y no en un disfruté, así que dejé de preocuparme. Ahora actualizo y aparezco cuando tengo algo que decir, sin presiones. Pero sí, sin dudas en un escenario hipotético sí sería una persona famosa por mis recomendaciones de libros y tendría un lugar en el mundo editorial.

Las mujeres siempre son creativas y emprendedoras. Si te diera $5000 con la condición de que hicieras una inversión, ¿en qué invertirías el dinero?

Esta pregunta combina con la anterior y si tuviera esa cantidad de dinero me gustaría invertir en una de esas cafeterías que también funcionan como bibliotecas. Me encantaría que la gente acudiera a mi cafebook para tomar algo rico y disfrutar de una buena lectura. Para mi, los libros son bienes necesarios porque son de mucha ayuda y nos traen beneficios, pero cada vez es más caro acceder a ellos y no todos pueden costearlos, sobre todo si son adolescentes que dependen del dinero que les den sus padres.
Así que me gustaría hacerme con una buena colección de todos los géneros, tanto clásicos como libros actuales que son los más caros y difíciles de obtener en el momento. La idea es que las personas se puedan permitir acceder a ellos por el módico precio de un café y algo rico para comer si lo desean. Pienso que el acceso a la lectura es importante, no solo porque nos permite ganar comprensión lectora, sino porque también nos hace más empáticos y nos permiten reflexionar sobre varios temas de interés. Además, nos hace conocernos mejor a nosotros mismos y a nuestros gustos. Es hermoso dejarse atravesar por una buena lectura.

Hello dear Ladies of Hive! I hope you are all doing well. I stopped by again today to participate in this week's topics which I found quite interesting. I love this exercise of thinking about answers, it can be enlightening in a sense. It makes you put into words what you wish or would like to happen.
Well, without further ado, let's get to it!

If you had fame guaranteed by destiny, what would be the reason for your fame? What would you be famous for?

The answer would be a book influencer. Being that person who is followed because she gives good reading recommendations, she is contacted by publishers to send her free books to review and advertise them. In addition to participating in meetings with other readers and players in the publishing world. I love this world and I'm on that path, I'm just going slower than required to shine on this stage.
Before I met Hive I made myself a Bookstagram, which is an Instagram dedicated to books. I still have it and I keep updating it, only it also takes quite a bit of work and effort to run it, to have good ideas and try to stand out among the sea of other accounts that are dedicated to the same thing. At some point I realized that maybe I wasn't enjoying it as much because it is required to publish often, otherwise it gets forgotten. It's not the friendliest platform because of the whole algorithm thing, but it's one that I like, since I'm good at writing and not at making videos. That's not my thing.
Anyway, as I started to feel pressure to read fast in order to have things to upload, it ended up becoming an obligation and not an enjoyment, so I stopped worrying about it. Now I update and show up when I have something to say, no pressure. But yes, without a doubt in a hypothetical scenario I would be a famous person for my book recommendations and I would have a place in the publishing world.

Women are always creative and entrepreneurial. If I gave you $5,000 on the condition that you make an investment, what would you invest the money in?

This question combines with the previous one and if I had that kind of money I would like to invest in one of those coffee shops that also function as libraries. I would love people to come to my cafebook to have a drink and enjoy a good read. For me, books are necessary goods because they are very helpful and bring us benefits, but it is becoming more and more expensive to access them and not everyone can afford them, especially if they are teenagers who depend on the money their parents give them.
So I would like to get a good collection of all genres, both classics and current books that are the most expensive and difficult to obtain at the moment. The idea is that people can afford to access them for the modest price of a coffee and something tasty to eat if they wish. I think that access to reading is important, not only because it allows us to gain reading comprehension, but also because it makes us more empathetic and allows us to reflect on various topics of interest. In addition, it makes us get to know ourselves and our tastes better. It is beautiful to let yourself go through a good reading.
