Let us be similar between nature and life

Tips for plant care and reflection

Keeping a beautiful garden requires time and dedication, because even with little money we can achieve that it is always green and alive. I give you an example of this, desert roses, or "Adenium obesum", are plants that need a lot of sun as well as cactus, watering for them should be moderate, they should be placed in full sun for optimal growth and one of the most used fertilizers for this is bone meal for its high phosphorus content, however, these items in Venezuela are high cost or simply not found, however, that is not a limitation for my mother in law because to keep her garden nice she uses sardine water instead, the same sardines she buys to feed her cats and she boils them, and we already know that this fish is rich in vitamins and "phosphorus", the same phosphorus that the bone meal has, well she uses that boiled fish water to water her plants, so it is also a good fertilizer for the plants in her garden.

These are little tips that I have learned since I have known her, since she is a garden enthusiast, she loves plants, gardening, baking and of course, her cats.

The above narrated, led me to think about the strength of nature and plants, which do not demand so much to live, be booming and beautiful, just like us humans, and this is where this phrase fits perfectly:

-"Like a lotus flower, we too have the ability to rise from the mud, bloom in the darkness and radiate out into the world."

We do not need great things to be happy either, it is enough to get what is necessary to survive and learn to live in harmony with what surrounds us, let's see the example of our ancestors, where they did not have medicines as there are today, but through nature, plants and their properties they could treat and cure diseases of the inhabitants of tribes, that can only be seen in Indians, Africans, and stop counting.

Thanks to nature we are where we are and we have evolved since coexisting kindly with the environment has made us go further, in terms of science, which could help nature beyond harming it. Always kindness must reign against people who do harm, likewise with the previous sentence, let us be like a beautiful lotus flower, let us rise from the mud and give light to those who need it with the little or much that we have at hand, because in scarcity, in darkness, under pressure, like seeds, we will be able to come out and bloom.

I have so many things to share however, I have so many ideas in mind and so many conflicting opinions that I tried to summarize as much as I could in this little writing for the community and this contest.

A really lovely post @emybaby and I love the effort you went to with the cover image. I think most gardeners understand the philosophy that tells us 'from the mud, the lotus blooms' really well as we live it in our gardens every year, and yes, like plants, people don't need a lot to blossom - a little nourishment and attention, and we radiate and bloom. Thanks so much for writing, and hope you can write again next week!

An absolutely stunning piece of writing from you. It's really nice to see you getting so philosophical. Rain is so essential for life.

Oh, and don't forget the weekly #creativegarden challenge gives you a writing prompt every Sunday! Love, @riverflows xx
