I've been a little busy lately, but I wasn't going to miss the opportunity to participate in the January contest themed "World Peace Day."
I tell you that it was difficult to find an idea to make at the craft level or perhaps it was that I did not feel very inspired at first, but, that moment of emptiness passed and I came up with this idea that I bring you today.
A key holder with a peace symbol.
- 1 metal keychain
- 1 small ring
- 10 cm of jewelry wire
- Chinese nylon in the color of your preference
- Lighter
- Jewelry tweezers
It's my first time working with jewelry wire, so shaping the peace symbol ring would be the most difficult and it was the first thing I did.
To do this I used a tweezer, I wanted to achieve a small but pretty symbol.
Then, I made a basic knot at the beginning of the symbol to start rolling and tightening the Chinese nylon and giving it that effect of order, plus the neon fuchsia color would make it very striking.
When I finished rolling the symbol, I sealed the tips with a lighter and placed the key ring. It was a very easy but tedious craft with the fingers when rolling the nylon into something so small.
If you are not good with your hands, I will warn you in advance that your fingers will hurt or maybe you will get a cramp. But for the result it is worth it.

Últimamente he estado un poco ocupada, pero no me iba a perder la oportunidad de participar en el concurso del mes de enero que lleva por temática "El día de la paz mundial".
Les digo que fué difícil encontrar una idea para elaborar a nivel de manualidades o quizás era que no me sentía muy inspirada al principio, pero, ese momento de vacío pasó y me llegó esta idea que les traigo hoy.
Un portallaves con símbolo de paz.
- 1 llavero de metal
- 1 aro pequeño
- 10 cm de alambre de bisutería
- Nylon chino del color de su preferencia
- Encendedor
- Pinzas de bisutería
Es la primera vez que trabajo con alambre de bisutería, así que darle la forma al aro con símbolo de paz sería lo más difícil y fué lo primero que hice.
Para ello me ayudé de una pinza, quería lograr un símbolo pequeño pero bonito.
Luego, hice un nudo básico al principio del símbolo para empezar a enrrollar y apretar el nylon chino y que diera ese efecto de orden, además de que el color fucsia neón lo haría muy llamativo.
Al terminar de enrrollar el símbolo, sellé las puntas con un encendedor y coloqué el aro del llavero, fué una manualidad muy fácil pero tediosa con los dedos al enrrollar el nylon en algo tan pequeño.
Sino eres hábil con las manos, te aviso de antemano que te dolerán los dedos o quizás te dé un calambre. Pero por el resultado vale la pena.
