LOH235 : EVENT PLANNER.

Hello everyone, welcome to my bolg.

A lot of things happen in life simotamouly such that we may have to choose and stick to an option over another due to many facts like our relivance, thoughtfulness, willingness or due to the fact that we can not be at two or more places at the same time. We can only be at a place at a time.

One of such cases is a situation where I have invites for three different occasions which falls on the same date and at different locations. One for family gathering, one for a friend's wedding anniversary and the ladt ine for a cousin's weeding. In short word I will have to choose which of the parties to attend.

If I find myself in such situations, the first thing I will put into consideration is my conveniences.
I will need to check which of the parties will be more convenient for me to attend with minimal stress. Also I will check out how to be useful to the others whom i may not be able to attend either through gift giving or being supportive through other means.

I will have to make myself useful to them not because it is compulsory but because all the people throwing this parties are people i can call my village and the people i can fall back on when necessary. Like my grandmother will always say"it is better to make a new friend than to create a new enemy.

Most importantly i believe family is more important over anything. At the same time one gave to prioritize ones self in other not to be miserable, mis interpreted or used.

In my situation, I will attend my best friend's wedding anniversary. Yes I will attend my friends wedding anniversary because I will be attending not just as a guest but I will also be attending as the event planner.

You will agree with me that it will not speak well of me to leave my business unattended. Also it could be dangerous for me to leave my business in the hands of an external person without proper supervision.

I really need to be present at an event I planned in case of reference or referrals. And who knows where connections may come from and i need to stay true to myself.
