Good evening to you all, hope your day went well? I am glad to be here again to participate in this week's #ladiesofhive community contest

One of the reasons I didn't have my own personal diary is that while I was in Secondary school, most of my classmates (females) who brought their diary to school end up being sad due to others invading their privacy, once they see they bring diary to school they want to know what is inside and after checking it they still tell it to the owner's face what they read then make fun of them. I am a very shy person and I don't want people to know too much unless I tell them myself, so I didn't write in diary for fear of someone checking it behind my back

So today I decided to write according to the topic by @brittandjosie as though I was writing in my diary.

       DEAR DIARY

It hasn't been easy. I am grateful for how far I have come, the things I have achieved and the things I am yet to achieve. For the days I don't know who to share my thoughts with, I can share with you my diary because I know you won't judge me.

I woke up today with the feeling of excitement. Why? I need to be my own cheerleader, how I start my day is very important, in getting any result I want, positive or negative, it is all in my hands, whichever ways I push, it depends on me. I embarked on this journey of self development, a journey others might not understand, but I definitely know what I want out of life. I will chase my dreams one step at a time even if am not so good at it now I will keep trying and striving for the best. I look up to those who believe in me, they are my source of inspiration.

As I set out today to pursue fashion designing, to learn and explore new things, eager to succeed in it, working more on my communication skills so I can interact with the people that will add value to me. Hopefully one day I will still be able to share my success story that I have made it with you my diary.

Transportation now seems a little bit difficult, they are constructing the road although this is inevitable and for good just that vehicle and motorcycle are not allowed to pass, which is why I have to trek more and get tired, walking back home through the dark, which is even worse when the rain falls. I believe it is just for a while.

I really want my own independence very soon where I can sort out my own bills, there is no better joy that comes with this, being able to foot my own bills and take care of myself. This will be all for now, till I come back again dear diary.
