If you are ready for an intergalactic space age rocket launch of beats and rhymes.. then Micortropics WILL NOT disappoint. This trippy Hip Hop duo is comprised of two prolific Cascadian Emcees: Rhymewave & Adam Cedar - & when these two collide their cosmic cadences, there is no predicting where their tales will take you (however, be prepared for interdimensional travel).

Microtrpoics style is futuristic, but also diverse. In fact, these guys are also so organic that they will throw peppers at you from the stage... and I don't mean that as a euphemism.. they will quite literally toss Peppers at you if they play their "Peter Piper" themed song.

Rhymewave - A goliath of an artist in his own right, Casey has ways of emerging words unheard in verses (ie cacophony & pollywog), and is quite an experienced producer, crafting all his own beats, and records and mixes his own vocals. An avid Truth theorist, and seeker of hidden knowledge & wisdom, the esoteric essence of Rhymewave's nature shines through evidently in his songs.

One of the strongest and most persistent leaders in the Cascadian Underground Hip Hop Movement, if Rhymewave isn't producing an upcoming show, you best believe he is performing at one. Along with being Samoureye's right hand man for Ohm on the Range Festival, he is also an OG co-founder of Micotropics, Kin of Merlin, & a duo project with Rob the Universe ytbn (just to name a few). One of Rhymewave's greatest aspirations in music is to collaborate with as many other aligned artists and producers as possible - a feat of desire we both share. He is also the most dependable, balanced, and well rounded artist I have ever had the honor of knowing. Thanks for always helping hold up the torch Bredren!

Adam Cedar - An extremely gifted freestyler and deeply insightful Emcee & writer, Adam has a strong aptitude for storytelling. It stands out that his parables deliver a sense of chronical that mixes fairytale and reality of personal experiences into deliciously inquisitive competitions, complete with thought provoking rhyme patterns, & appropriate melodies, frequently utilizing analogies and personification.

Adam knows how to caress a mic just as well as he knows how to blast one, capable of carrying the highs and lows of any performance or production, he also brings a unique style that is a perfect compliment to Rhymewave's in the Micotropics setting. Every encounter I have personally had with Adam Cedar has either been uplifting, inspiring, transformative, or all of the above. I think I even have a video of him somewhere freestyling while laying down on his back on the floor once (I will post it if I find it).
