Legends Featured Artist Profiles - Part 6: Dan O

Born in Ohio, Dan O spent 6 years in the Bay/Santa Cruz area (2012-2018) curating a smorgasbord of underground/undiscovered Hip Hop talent with his Youtube series/channel "Mobile Studio Productions" - where he picked up rappers from the area in his car, and recorded verses and freestyles over beats he would play (it's actually a REALLY dope series of videos if you haven't seen them), often times also participating himself.

During his time in Santa Cruz, Dan O linked up with some BIG BOYS in the work world which allowed him to fund a cannabis extraction company he eventually co-founded in Washington (you can check his IG profile to see the products he made - @ endooils ). He alchemized a string of products, inducing hash rosin vapes and cannabis oil based tinctures.

As the tides began shifting in the canna-realm, Dan O & co liquidated the extraction business and started a new LLC crafting laser engraved wood merchandise for local businesses and artists. Dan O can also produce vinyl stickers, and vinyl press designs on clothing. He is now a one-stop-shop for the branding-merch manufacturing demand in our circles and beyond.

This badass old school style free flow Emcee also exhibits an affinity for extreme sports, including ventures in: skateboarding, downhill longboarding, drift triking, and dabbling in several disciplines of gravity sports, as well as some high-cliff/bridge jumping into bodies of water. A commonality shared with the artist from our last feature CAVEMANBONES, I know this man also loves a good tree climb.

Dan O's portfolio is actually quite immense, as he also has a knack for leading and organizing BIG events, and executed a plethora of them flawlessly. The most notable of these is an event in Ohio known as "Soldiers of Downhill", that has been going strong over the course of the past 13 years, and is the longest running downhill skateboard and luge race event in America. Dan O is now closely overseeing the passing of the torch in this realm to the organization he founded called "Ohio Downhill Skate". The 2023 installment of this event was used as a national qualifier for both USA and Canadian downhill skateboarding for points to compete in the "World Roller Games" next year.

If that's not enough for ya - Dan O made a PACKED PDX crowd ROAR when he was called up on stage by members of Wu Tang Clan (Ghostface Killah & Killah Priest) to perform Method Man AND ODB's verse on "Protect Ya Neck" during the 2018 "Dope Cup".
