Qurator's Photo Quest | Macro Photography of Pencils

This post will be my entry for @qurator photo quest, If you wish to join the contest please kindly read and follow the rules and guidelines here, and for this week it is about macro photography of Pencils.

I see the post about the contest announcement yesterday, and I was thinking that I might be able to join the contest since I am getting my day off today.

I am using my son's coloring pencil to enter the contest, and the funny thing is that I can only find one pencil, just don't know where the others are going when I need them. 😅😅😅

The idea that I have is to write qurator and the pencil on the side, and the one below is the first version. Somehow I forgot that I will be taking the macro shot and just writing big letter, before fixing it and write smaller letters like in the first photo.

You can see also the pencil has a rough sharpening pattern, since I was using a dull knife that I can find in the kitchen. 😅. I need to sharpen the knife for sure while I am at home now.

Then I proceed to write HIVE and use the left over from the sharpening process to enhance the subject.
