Reflections and shadows at nightfall. Night Photography in Horizon Zero Dawn.

Hello everyone.
Once again I'm sharing with you screenshots of Horizon Zero Dawn game. As you can see, this time I will be showing you beautiful landscapes and night scenes to participate in the weekly community contest, which has the theme Night Photography.
I took these shots in different places and at different times, so I won't tell you part of the story, but rather tell you about the photos. For example, in the one I show you below, I was walking along a forest path and when I looked up I noticed that the moonlight covered everything and, with the photo mode, I put Aloy in a pose where she seems to be enjoying a bath of moonlight.

In this image I am in front of the first settlement I found after leaving the sanctuary. From this scene it is striking how illuminated the guard posts are and the location of the settlement itself, embedded in a rocky area next to a mountain.

Here I show you my first encounter with the King of Meridian, also known as the king of the sun. This scene was more cinematic than gameplay, but it is very well done. Notice how the moon shines in all the golden decoration.

There was an occasion when I spent a long time exploring some ruins and, when I came out, everything was dark. See how, for a moment, when I came out of the cave, everything was black and white, as if I had used a filter.

And although it seems unreal, right in front of the exit of the cave there was a trunk full of yellow flowers. Here I experimented a bit with the angle of the camera, obtaining this beauty.

But not everything is moonlight and pure reflections in the darkness; beauty can also be found in the gloom. If you don't believe me, look at this shot from a distance, where I show you how a thick fog merges with the landscape, making the shapes almost imperceptible. Only the lights of the machines grazing nearby can be distinguished.

As a curiosity, I share with you these two images, which, as you can see, are from the same place but with a slight difference. If you look closely, using the photo mode, I modified the schedule to change the position of the moon to get a totally different perspective.

As I have already shown enough scenery, it's time to give some more prominence to Aloy, who is the main character of the game. In each of these images, you will be able to see them in different situations, positions and with facial expressions according to the time and place.

This one here is one of my favorites, as that moment played a crucial role in the development of the story. I won't make spoilers, I'll just say that those huge tentacled machines are truly incredible, and I don't mean that in a good way.

For the end I will leave an image that is part of a collection I called “Resting by the flames”. To that collection also belongs the capture that was used as the cover for the contest announcement, so thanks a lot, guys, for choosing my photo.
