I had never played this game before and that's why I'm surprised by the design of the inhabitants who modified their bodies to place their heads on their chests. Of all the possible modifications, this is one of the strangest I've seen. It reminds me a little of one of the villains from the Ninja Turtles. That one was an alien with a brain-like shape.

Yes, they are humans who got carried away by technology and material things and the story behind why they ended up that way is very interesting.
That detail of seeing their true appearance can only be achieved by raising the maximum level of reputation with them and that takes time, I didn't know it until I achieved it and saw that you can see their true face.
