My advise to every beginner on hive is to stay dedicated and engage frequently. The process of growth is gradual, and to endure the rough days, one has to enjoy the process of learning. Learn, engage, then earn-Work with this process.

Completely agree, if we publish with the desire to earn immediate money and we do not receive good rewards we get discouraged, the idea is to give love and be patient, and create community by being constant.👍

That's true, when we make money the focus, we loose interest easily when it's not coming forth

I have known hivers who got used to having some whale vote for them and when they don't do it they get demotivated, that's why I insist on varying sometimes the content and make more community to make yourself known and that the community itself supports you even if they are small percentages, but if many do it it will help you not to leave the publication at zero.

Yeah, that's some wisdom there, I've notice that too over some years

It is not an easy journey to be here but what is important first is to believe in yourself by being consistent in what you do and also you need to socialize with others because that also will help you grow and have more informations about the platform.

My advice for beginners is for them to first of all eradicate the mindset that it is a quick scheme to make money especially when they see rewards given to others which isn't so. For one to be better here for growth you need to work for it by contributing in various aspect to secure that growth.

  1. Consistency is the key because this is what keeps one moving to secure progress in the blockchain and the more you keep putting in your best the more you intend to be better.

  2. Never give up even if you aren't getting the actual results you want because this is a gradual process and it needs time before the positive change can showcase.

  3. Find your niche by knowing what your really good at which will help you more especially when having a community that suite that.

  4. Try to associate with others because it also helps as well and how this works is to reply people's post and also reply comments in your own post as well. We have discord where we can also relate with many people and this however will secure that growth if we follow the process.

What a nice question, thank you @ecency ☺️

My best advice is to be consistent in being active daily. Being consistent is also an advice and reminder to myself. Always communicate with other hiver and support each other's blog and community we joined. And most of all post a nice photo, because there's so many photography contest in different communities. I'm not a professional in photography though. But all of us can make a good shot ☺️

This advice is also for my daughter and son, they start learning to blog here in Hive Community. They just post their introduction earlier 😌

More power to all of us Hiver and Hive on!

Good morning everyone and compliments to all members of Hive across the globe.

As a beginner on Hive, the first thing I would advise is not to worry about earning immediately after you start blogging.

I tell this to people whenever I invite them to the Hive. The blockchain is not a quick rich scheme and it doesn't end well when a newbie is only concerned about earning. The foundation of every beginner should be about engaging with other members just to make their presence known and after doing that, they can move to posting quality content on the blockchain.

When earning becomes a beginner priority, they lose the motivation to continue when they are not getting the money immediately after they join the platform.

As I mentioned earlier, engagement is important because it's the key to growth on the blockchain.

Understanding the platform rules is also very important, it would be unwise to violate rules even as a beginner.

In conclusion, patience is very important for every beginner. The journey is always rough from the onset but at the end, there is joy in it.

Every old member here has stories to tell, I once left and returned. I wish I didn't leave but it happened because there was no one to guide me. After understanding Hive, I made up my mind to help newbies I come across to prevent them from making the mistake I made.

Starting new on Hive can so overwhelming if not managed well and you may get discouraged and give up when you see that those upvotes aren't coming in but hey, remember Rome wasn't built in a day.

So be patient with your Hive journey, take it one step at a time.
Do not rush to do so many things or join so many communities which you won't be able to participate in, find your niche community and start from there.

Engage, engage and engage with other users. I'm repeating this because that's how I started when I joined and it really helped me to get followers.

My best advice for the newbies is that consistency and hardwork is the key. It may look like nothing is going to come out from it.
But there is always rewards for everything one do.
It may take time...but the rewards is always huge and massive.

Hive is an awesome place to be and if you want to make it awesome for yourself try to be genuine and post your own works which will definitely bring out the best in you and avoid posting other people's work.

I will be sharing my experience here because I also worked hard to grow here. There are some tips which any beginner can follow to grow a bit faster

Engagement is something which is really important here. If you think that you will just come, post and go away, you might get some votes but you can't grow up.

Make new friends, discover it. Just don't stick to a few things. Hive is a whole new world and the more you will explore the more you will find.

There are different discord servers to join where you can find more about some popular communities and also there are some tribal communities which help you in your growth on hive. I will recommend every new user to join new discord servers.

Always read other people posts and do comments, also reply to those comments which people make on your posts because this will help you in making more relationships here on hive.

These were some words from my side.

Advice for Newbies Venturing into Hive/Ecency

As someone who has been on Hive and Ecency, I've gathered valuable insights that can significantly benefit newcomers embarking on this engaging journey.

Create Original Content: The cornerstone of success on this platform first begins with authenticity. Creating original content that reflects your interests, insights, and creativity. a unique identity that will attract genuine engagement.

Active Engagement and Support: Actively engage with the community by interacting with others' posts. Commenting and offering your support through upvotes, no matter how small, goes a long way in building connections and building a supportive network.

Consistency and Interaction: Consistency is key! Maintain a consistent presence and engage with others' content. Wave and interact with other users' waves, leaving thoughtful and meaningful comments that sparkle conversations.

Learn and unlearn: The learning curve here is enriching. Maximize the opportunity to learn and unlearn from fellow community members. Every interaction offers a chance to expand your knowledge base and refine your skills.

Community Building over Monetary Gains: While the potential for earning exists, focus on more than just monetary gains. Stay for the long run by contributing positively to the community, connections, and cultivating a supportive environment.

My advice for people starting hive would be that they should not be discouraged. Discouraged in the sense that, sometimes you may crack your head to put up a really good post but at the end of the day, it doesn't get voted for. This can be really painful. Rather than be discouraged try to point out your mistakes by going through posts made by other people. Effect these corrections on your next point and do it continually. This will help you to know the communities to post in, tags to use, arrangements of write-up etc.

My best advice for beginners on hive would be that they should never stop learning. It is an established fact that most newbies are usually invited by friends or family. Relying on the knowledge of your referers is good but going the extra mile to gain more knowledge through surfing of the platform, going through posts of other people, checking on competitions existing in different communities etc.
Task your self by being the one to ask your referers questions refering to what you saw but is finding it difficult, show them to certain information you may have bumped into, ask questions and do not stop until you get answers maybe from the community or the owner of the posts.
With such desires and plans the sky would be your starting point on ecency.

Thank you for visiting my comment.

Good morning everyone. The best advice I can give to those starting out in Hice/Ecency is the following:

1.- Make mistakes without fear and forget perfection because in the beginning there is too much to learn and in Hive there is always something to learn.

2.- Enjoy every process, every interaction and every action because that will make you take interest and appreciation to the platform.

3.- Touch on topics that you like and add something of value, whether it is a reflection or a teaching so that you can make a contribution to someone who needs it.

4.- Always balance your life and give priority to what is important, do not dedicate yourself only to the RRSS because then you can come and give the best of you to Hive.

These are tips that I follow and I know they will help many others. Thanks for reading and Merry Christmas to all.

My advice is simple for new starters.

Just try to find enjoyment in what you're doing. This is not a get rich quick scheme, if you're only here for the money, you will need to be ready to commit a lot of time to this platform and community, so the best thing is just to try to fit into some communities and get to know the people, communicate and enjoy yourself.

First of all, I am who to give advice but maybe I would tell them that they read a lot about @ecyny in addition to taking into account all the advantages that it offers how for example add points and then exchanging them by votes in favor in our publications or in the Any user, participate in competitions what they have for us how for example, where we earn excellent rewards and we can get tokens from layer2

Yuhh it is such an interesting topic. First of all
I would like to advise Never give up.
Next I think newbies should stay in touch with community and use both as a web interface and a mobile app. Never to be afraid to upload and add to their posts videos. Since ecency now supporting it. And of course use ecency waves!

Hi welcome to the hive, if you are just starting I suggest you:

✔️First of all, Enjoy life! Have a good coffee, have dinner with friends, travel, exercise, do a hobby, sing, enjoy the simple things... take good pictures, and then make the posts There are communities for everything!

✔️For example, if your thing is crafts, visit the crafts community or communities and read, comment, and vote on the related posts, this way you will be making yourself known and learning how to improve your content.

✔️I suggest that you take the pictures horizontally because it will look better in what will be the cover of your publication, learn to layout, so that your content looks cool, and remember that your publication will see the whole world and is saved on the network forever. Imagine that you are like a journalist!

✔️Another tip there is a good translator you can use called DeepL and a very good proofreader called Grammarly, if you want a different font look for Fontmeme, and if you want to edit a picture with a cool effect use LunaPic.

✔️SAVE, did you know that you can save in your wallet, you can do it! use a percentage of each profit and save, then withdraw it when you need it, I also suggest supporting others, delegating to witnesses that work for the hive, and interacting daily will increase your HP.

✔️Last but not least, participate in the various healing programs on Discord, there you can interact live, listen to good music, and have fun sharing from a distance with other hives.

✔️One last thing, do everything with CAREFULNESS, and PATIENCE, if you do not do well with your usual niche then clear your mind and vary writing about something else, read, and research so you can always create quality and good content creator on the Web3.

Want more tips? ask me and I'll be glad to help you.

When you arrive at a new place, the ideal thing to do is to see and hear what the place is like.

When you arrive at Hive/Ecency, you must be attentive and hungry to get to know it and then unleash your gifts.

  • Keep your passwords in a safe place other than on an electronic device, e-mail, or in the cloud. The idea is to keep it in writing. With that, you will avoid regrets in the future.

  • Check all the communities to locate our niche.

  • Read the rules of the communities. This is very important.

  • Make comments to other publications. With this, we will relate with others and as a consequence, we will learn and be noticed.

  • Take the platform as our company, something of ours that we must take care of and defend. Do not take it superficially, as if it were something to make extra money. With time you will know what I mean.

  • Try to create quality content that teaches, that leaves a call to action.

  • Do not plagiarize.

  • Definitely, have patience and work.
