Why Crazy Jeans?

avatar

The trend with which the world is going, sometimes I wonder how the world will be in 10-20 years from now. Fashion and style of dressing had evolved over the past years and all with their uniqueness. I remember seeing some old school pictures of my dad with baggy trousers, and I wondered how things had changed. In their age, it was the trending style of trousers the so-called big boys wore. It looks funny but compared with this current generation, it is far preferable. I laugh each time we discuss how many yards of clothes they must have used in sewing such trousers but at least they were all morally dressed and covered up.

Gradually, the fashion industry experienced rapid growth and started to make designs that suit each passing era. Growth and change is actually constant and that's what happened to the industry, but this change swift from the moral way of dressing to what the people wanted, and soon focused on what people we see as models dressed in. Whatever a celebrity wears becomes what trend, just because we consider them to be our model and not looking attentively to whether it goes with the principle of moral behavior. So, the industry focused on producing whatever the people wanted , not minding our culture or tradition as long as people desired it and it fetched them a good deal of money.

Suddenly, a trouser called "The crazy Jeans" became the fashion trend among guys. The person wearing the jeans might be a good guy, gentle and soft but the jeans already gave him a general name "crazy". Only crazy people wear crazy things. Personally, I can't buy what doesn't have a good name or carry a good image of itself. So whenever I see a guy wearing those jeans , the first thing that comes to my mind is "crazy" and that's because he doesn't actually understand why he wears jeans that's tore. The essence of dressing is to cover up nakedness, why then would someone wear a torn out dress and still consider himself dressed. It's only someone with little understanding that takes a lot of money to buy a trouser that's torn and can't be used for official purposes.

Sometimes our conscience tells us when we are doing the wrong thing (for people who still have conscience) and that's the reason we're selective on the kind of dress to wear for interviews and official meetings. Yeah, no one goes to these places with a crazy trouser or is considered as responsible when they do, so we select what fits depending on the occasion. I have no problem with individuals who wear such jeans. I only believe their understanding is small and probably still young to understand that this kind of trend doesn't carry a good image of them. Sometimes, these young boys go as far as tearing up their trousers themselves to make it crazy. Why crazy jeans when it only makes one look crazy? I see such an act as lacking intelligence.

Normally before now, when there is a torn part on ones trouser one would seriously look for needle and thread to patch it or rather not wear it. But now torn trousers are very much in production, it's a part of fashion, a trending ware which they now call "crazy jeans". Both guys and ladies do rock this crazy jeans even when our parents sees them as crazy people probably parents don't understand why one would wear a torn jeans, who would explain it to them? That this is fashion. Imagine telling granny the reason behind wearing a torn jeans 😅

It's so unfortunately we've to deal with such type of dressing around the world.

It's usually the mad people we see who wear torn cloth until crazy jeans cones in, I hope they'll scrap it pretty soon.

Funny enough, many people love those crazy jeans . Many people just looks stupid tearing their jeans intentionally just for it to look crazy. Even with the name crazy, it says alot. It's funny how our people fell in love with crazy dresses comfortably...let me say, it's just a trending fashion which majority follow suit in doing just to belong in catching funs!

Well, I have seen a very few people that the crazy jean fits on and usually, they are fit for specific occasions like clubs or hangouts.

Generally though, not advised for public wears.

Thank you for sharing

Honestly I find it hard to believe that one will go to the market just to buy a torn jeans in the name of fashion. 😂 Well, I respect those that wear them but I also find it stupid the way you do.

There are a lot of people who do that and that's the reason it became a trend.
