[Esp/Eng]Hispaliterario 23: intrigas en Hive

Josh y Joe se conocieron durante un festival de colmenas y pronto se hicieron amigos. Ambos tenían grandes sueños de hacer crecer la plataforma y construir comunidades, por lo que ejecutaron un proyecto conjunto con la esperanza de hacerlos crecer al igual que la comunidad en el futuro. El proyecto logró su gran avance como lo habían imaginado, pero Josh comenzó a desconfiar de Joe. Él creía que Joe estaba tomando una parte injusta del proyecto que habían construido, no tenía evidencia, pero la amargura comenzó a comer una buena parte de él. Cada vez que trata de delatarlo, teme que Joe deje escapar un secreto que sabe sobre él. Así que reprimió su amargura y actuó como si todo estuviera bien.

Joe no tardó mucho en notar el cambio de comportamiento de Josh. Sintió que Josh estaba conspirando contra él, pero no podía acusarlo directamente porque tenía parte de su poder de Hive encerrado con Josh. Trabajaron juntos pero con un sentimiento de desconfianza y conspiración entre ellos que no se expresó. Joe se despertó una mañana y notó un voto negativo en su publicación, que redujo sus ganancias a algo insignificante, no necesitaba preguntar de quién provenía el voto negativo. Siempre había sospechado de Josh y creía que él había iniciado el voto negativo. Joe relacionó el voto negativo con los familiares de Josh, quienes se enojaron y comenzaron a dar votos negativos a las publicaciones de Josh.

Josh, al ver los votos negativos, asumió que Joe estaba detrás de ellos. Durante meses, se convirtió en una batalla por la supremacía, ya que intentaron vengarse el uno del otro pero sin explicar claramente sus razones. Escribieron artículos que parecen hablar en contra de la otra parte sin mencionar nombres, por temor a que la otra parte use lo que saben o tenga en su contra. Continuó durante meses y otros usuarios se preguntaron qué salió mal entre dos personas que alguna vez fueron buenos amigos y tenían la inspiración para ayudarse mutuamente a crecer.

Mientras otros miraban y se preguntaban desde lejos, un usuario llamado Sparrow estaba más interesado en saber qué estropeó la relación que antes era pacífica y si era posible encontrarle una solución. Para transmitirles un mensaje de que ambos tenían enemigos en común, rechazó su publicación desde la misma cuenta usando una diferente a la suya y esperó a ver su reacción. Más tarde ese día, Joe y Josh notaron que ambos recibieron un voto negativo de la misma cuenta y eso les dejó una pregunta en el corazón. Sparrow no se detuvo allí, le preguntó a Joe qué salió mal y también le preguntó a Josh y escuchó su historia.

Ahora Sparrow tenía conocimiento de lo que inició la disputa y por qué actuaron de la manera que lo hicieron. Los convocó a una reunión y les dijo lo que todos habían dicho y se dieron cuenta de que su incapacidad para abrirse unos a otros fue lo que los llevó a esta pelea prolongada. Alimentarse de información de extraños solo destruyó su confianza. Se dieron cuenta de que no eran enemigos y todas sus acusaciones se basaron en suposiciones y que fue su conflicto lo que abrió la puerta a otros que les dieron votos negativos. Una vez más terminaron con el conflicto y todo volvió a la normalidad.

Josh and Joe met during a hive fest and soon became friends. They both had big dreams of growing the platform and building communities, so they executed a joint project hoping to make them grow as well as the community in the future. The project got her breakthrough as they had envisioned but Josh started to distrust Joe. He believed Joe was taking an unfair share from the project they had built, he had no evidence but bitterness started to eat a good part of him. Each time he tries to tell on him, he's afraid Joe would let out a secret he knows about him. So he bottled up his bitterness, and acted as if everything was fine.

It didn't take long for Joe to notice Josh's change of behavior. He felt Josh was conspiring against him but couldn't directly accuse him because he had some of his Hive power locked up with Josh. They worked together but with a feeling of distrust and conspiracy between them which remained unspoken. Joe woke up one morning and noticed a downvote on his post, it reduced his earnings to something insignificant, he didn't need to ask from whom the downvote came from, He had always suspected Josh and believed he had initiated the downvote. Joe related the downvote to Josh's relatives who became angry and started giving downvotes to Josh's posts.

Josh seeing the downvotes assumed Joe was behind them. For months, it became a battle of supremacy, as they tried to get back at each other but without plainly stating their reasons. They wrote articles that seem to speak against the other party without mentioning names, afraid the other party would use what they know or hold against them. It continued for months and other users wondered what went wrong between two people who were once good friends, and had inspiration to help each other grow.

While others watched and wondered from afar, a user named Sparrow was more interested in knowing what spoiled the relationship that was once peaceful and if possible find a solution to it. In order to pass a message to them that they both had common enemies, he downvoted their post from the same account using one different from his and waited to see their reaction. Later that day, Joe and Josh noticed that a downvote was given to them both from the same account and it left a question in their heart. Sparrow didn't stop there, he inquired from Joe what went wrong and inquired also from Josh and heard their story.

Now Sparrow had knowledge of what started the feud and why they acted the way they did. He called them together in a meeting and told them what everyone had said and they realized their inability to open up to one another was what led to this prolonged fight. Feeding on information from outsiders only destroyed their trust. They realized they weren't enemies and all their accusations were drawn from assumption and that it was their conflict that opened the door to others who gave them downvotes. Once again they ended the conflict, and everything became normal.
