Greetings dear friends of this community, here I am again to participate in one of the different proposals that @galenkp has presented to us for this week 168, and it is the reference that if there is any combination of strange food that we like, what it is and why we like it.

Well, I consider that what I am going to present to you as a very special dish, which I usually make as dinner, is not common for people to consume it that way as I usually consume it, and it is I repeat the combination of those three foods, and it is precisely the combination of banana which is long type as the one I indicate in the photo, cheese, which has to be llanero cheese and not another cheese, and oriental cassava.

When I make the clarification of the banana or plantain as they call it in other regions, but it has to be specifically of the type that I show you, because with another type of banana the flavor changes, another thing about the banana, for my taste it should not be too ripe, that is to say when it already has black spots I do not like its flavor.

Regarding the cheese, it has to be of the llanero type that we call in Venezuela, which is a cheese that is usually semi-hard or hard, but preferably the semi-hard is better to eat it in small pieces.

Regarding the cassava, it has to be of the oriental type, which is a little harder than the one we know in the country as cracker type that overflows too much when we are eating it.

Regarding the cassava, I tell you that it is a kind of tortilla that is made with a type of yucca, this yucca has to be grated and remove all the liquid it contains and then place it in a kind of budares or plates to make the cassava, and in Venezuela usually in the regions are made different types, although I consider that one of the best cassava that are made in the country are those made by the east.

I tell you that lately I have gotten some mini pancakes that are very similar to the oriental cassava and therefore I have bought them, actually always in my case I have cassava, because I also like to accompany it with other foods, and according to the best presentation that I get in the market.

The cassava with cheese or even alone is delicious and like you, when the cambur is very stained I don't like it, I prefer it painted like this or many people tell me it's green like this, but for me it's perfect.
