The time has finally come: It is Halloween Month! 👻

Over the past few weeks, we've been celebrating holidays and searching for new partners for our upcoming contests. That's why we took a break in September, but trust us, it was worth the wait!

As you probably know, we're a community here on HIVE that's all about DIY (Do It Yourself), and our main goal is to support creators from all around the world. In our community, we run a monthly contest to inspire and reward talented authors. Each month, we have a different theme for the contest. We're proud to mention that we're a non-profit project, and we share 100% of the curation rewards with our delegators. Because of this, we've connected with some fantastic projects and communities that are eager to contribute to our monthly prize pools.

For this month, we're excited to announce a special collaboration with liketu, who has generously donated a substantial prize pool for all of you! So, be sure to share your creations in October through liketu to participate.

On the 31st of October, the world will celebrate the spookiest holiday of all Halloween. This holiday is paired with amazing DIY decorations, DIY costumes, makeup, and creepy recipes. This is 100% perfectly fitting to our community and we know you will have a lot of fun creating some things to enter the contest!

But to win our contest is not easy - think out of the box and create your own idea to stand out from the masses ;) The more creative you get the higher the chance of winning! Get inspired by horror movies, creepy campfire stories, things you would normally not eat, or other weird things :D

  • Show of a zombie Halloween costume
  • "Cook" a bloody worm meal
  • Create a skeleton out of cardboard
  • "Blood-up" a cute dress with ketchup
