How is my perfect day (EN/ES)

ENGLISH

Lately, I can say that I have had the opportunity to live some days similar to what I consider my ideal day. That is because I am learning -very gradually- to have a more practical attitude towards life. I've had bad days, too, but I'm learning to see them as something normal and even entitled to, as an imperfect human being.

Anyway, these are the characteristics of my perfect day:

First: productive.

If there's one thing I love is feeling like I'm doing something useful with my life, that I'm accomplishing small goals that will lead me to achieve bigger goals. Something that stresses me out a lot is feeling like I'm not in control (I've always been very controlling), so keeping track of what I've done and what's left to do gives me that feeling that I'm the one at the helm of my life and that I'm running it well. It's that degree of monotony and stability that part of me needs.

Secondly: relaxing.

This is 100% necessary, because you need peace to be happy. It doesn't mean it has to be relaxing all day, a couple of challenges to face or an exciting event is normal. I like it, it's done. But I don't like to worry, not at all, in fact, it's one of my biggest goals recently. If there's something I can't control or can't solve, being apathetic to it; not thinking about it at all. If I can do something about it, just do it. It may sound radical, but I've had to take radical steps to combat my anxiety. So on my perfect day I can take a deep breath, my heart is calm and my mind is full of hope.

Finally, something cheesy.

Well, love should not be missing in any person's day, and I'm not just talking about the love of a partner. A time to share with friends, family, with people we love. A moment to say words of encouragement, to give each other physical signs of affection and warmth. That company is never superfluous in any day, and it can make it wonderful.

In short, the perfect day for me is a productive, relaxing and at the end a little cheesy.

And for you, what does a perfect day look like?

Good thought and practise you have. But wanna include one more point to it.

A day will be perfect one if everything goes according to my plan. I have learnt one thing also. Planning can make life unhappy also.😭

It's good to know your thought of a perfect day. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, that's why flexibility in planning is essential. In my case, I stopped making schedules and now I make to-do lists on my phone. That helps me a lot, because if I can't do something, I just leave it for the next day.

Thanks for your comment. 💜

The important thing is always to get up, without getting overwhelmed and without lying down to die as they say. So continue firm and forward that there are no barriers for more bad days that are happening. There will always be a light at the end of the estimated tunnel @dfreitesp 🙌🙌🙌💟💟💟

@soylegionario Thank you for your words, they are very encouraging. Yes, it's true, indeed, everything does end. Both the bad and the good. Keeping that in mind instills hope in the grey moments and helps to focus on the present when we are enjoying ourselves. Hugs to you. 🫂

That's really an ideal day.... It's always a wrap when we get to talk with people we love after a productive day
