Meet and Greet: Celebrating Our Batch Silver Reunion

Hello everyone! How's your day? I'm here again sharing with you our Silver Reunion our Batch Last December 23, 2023. I was quite busy on that day since I divided my time between the two events that I had attended on that day. That was the Christmas Party of my Hubby at their Company in Compostela, Cebu. I must not miss those two important events since both were significant to me.

Last November 2023 our batch was having a reunion already. But that was unplanned since we had it when some of our batchmates arrived from other countries and other provinces. So of all batchmates only 30 percent of the total population arrived. During that time we had a chance to plan our reunion that we had last December 23, 2023. That was our silver reunion.

During our reunion last November, we agreed to have another reunion by December. This time we planned our activities, food program, and invitation. We also choose a leader in each section to inform their classmates of the said gatherings and add their Facebook account to our Group Chat.

First, we ask some of our batchmates to donate any amount for the following expenses; for the drummers during the motorcade, gasoline, T-shirt, tarpaulin, venue rental, video k, food for lunch and dinner, and other expenses. Many of our batchmates donated cash for our gathering. We gathered almost 50,000 Php donations and pledges. With that, our event was realized and successful.

The Venue

Our reunion was held at Sander Yap Beach Resort beside Miranda Beach and Lingay Beach, Poblacion, San Remigio, Cebu.

The Day of Our Reunion

We started our reunion with a mass. After the mass, we had a moto cade from the town area to the neighboring barangay. After that, we started the formal program with a prayer and welcome address. After that, we introduced ourselves to those who had already forgotten our names and familiar faces since it was already 25 years from the day of our graduation. After our self-introduction was the singing of our graduation song. We have sung our graduation song if we still remember what was our graduation song. Then an intermission number followed. Then the blessings of food were done since it was already lunchtime.

After our lunch, we continued our activities. We had various games and after the games were the video k challenges. We enjoyed our games. We had our time to bonding with each other, laughing at each other. We were able to reminisce about our friendship. After different games was our photo opportunity by section. After the photo opportunity, I excused myself for I would be going to the party of my hubby.

After the photo opportunity, they continued their meet-and-greet moment. Then they had their dinner before they departed each other. We're so thankful that many of our batch attended the reunion. As one of the organizing team. I'm so proud that almost 90 percent of the total population of our Batch attended. Even if some of my batchmates were from the city and other provinces they spent their time, money, and effort just to be with us. It shows that they value our High school friendship. I'm also thankful to my cousins who were my classmates for leading the organizing team. To all my batchmates my sincere thanks for donating an amount for the event. This would not be successful if not for the cooperation of all members of our batch. Looking forward to another reunion and gathering.
