(NOTE: I meant to put this in the MUSIC community ... so I am cross-posting it)

I just need y'all to understand, from the beginning, exactly who we are dealing with... I have known Mr. Hollaway for many years ... his deep voice is matched well with his generous heart and kind spirit! In this post, I am introducing this one-of-a-kind voice to Hive officially!

Like I said, first understand who we are dealing with...

It is and forever will be my honor to have had Mr. Hollaway be the first to record my own arrangement of the minor-key variant of "Nobody Knows the Trouble I See, Lord" ... he ALSO did the video work, tying the significance of this song back into all humanity!

And then, his version of "Never Enough" from the "The Greatest Showman" is one of the most magnificent covers I have ever heard.

And, finally, so that you can experience Mr. Hollaway as I have known him in gentle wisdom, here also is one of my favorite podcasts from him!

Mr. Hollaway's YouTube channel is That Bass Voice (I know, like, enough said for a title, right?), for those who want MORE ... and I will be inviting him to get on board with Hive and all the wonderful things in music we are doing here!

When you listen to Mr Hollaway for the first time (not here, but in your other post... ooh and that gaze of the pianist lol) you you can't help but laugh 😂 Sea Shanty is cool, and I laughed again, but how sad is the Nobody Knows the Troubles... in minor key 😔

I have to go back to the video when he found himself in times of trouble 😁

It is a gift to be able to laugh at life ... a bit later in the year, I shall share what another basso profundo -- at his most ridiculous and hilarious -- has taught me about that!

Oh Eric Hilloway! I discovered him when he sang the Hoist The Colors isolated. His voice was amazing and that bass! The deepest I have heard so far. He sang Never enough so well. I never thought I would hear this song in bass. I am not surprised he is the best in the world. Thank you for sharing more of his songs. I hope you get him on Hive soon. We need him haha.
