BECOMING AN ADULT IS NOT AN EASY TASK

To be honest I just want to back to those when I didn’t have to worry about what to eat, what to wear, where to be and where not to be, who to be in a relationship with and who not be in one with. As an adult I really miss being a child, becoming an adult was one of the hardest things I had to go through.

IMAGE IS MINE

When I was a child, I was used to demanding from my dad and getting it immediately, but now I literally have to work all most everything except for food and shelter because I live with my elder brother and his family. Being an adult has been a sweet bitter experience according to my teacher from high school.

Adult hood is full of ups and downs, on somedays you have everything you ever wanted while some days are the bad days, but generally it has been an amazing journey, I have learnt so many things along the line, how to be patient, to be contented and also how to live life to the fullest because you only live once.

I’m just going to share the memory of when I was in the university, I spent four years in the university, I graduated from high school at the age of 16 and then I headed to the university, reaching there I saw so many different types of people, the good, bad and the ugly, I didn’t really like my time there because that wasn’t the kind of school I dreamt of going but all thesame I made friends that made me enjoy my time there. When I got there, that was when I discovered that I had automatically turned into an adult, because my parents were not there to guide and put me through some things.

I made so many decisions on my own, some were good while some were not but I found myself retracing from the wrong decisions, I also lost some friends, people I knew that would do me no good, I had to let such people away from my life.
School life was fun generally, attended a lot of school parties, which were fun, did so many game nights, read so many books, finally I wrote my last papers at the age of 20, things were rough during that time, as I was mourning my dad, this hurts because he was not there to see me bag a degree, but all thesame ADULTHOOD IS WORTH IT.

It is very worth it, however, don't forget to play now and again and re-visit childhood, because as adults, we tend to forget to have fun! Take care and enjoy the journey!

Adulthood is not easy at all, not like those times when we don't need to take up responsibilities haha

Thanks for participating sis.

Thank you for sharing dear friend, adulthood is indeed worth it. Wish we could live childhood in adulthood but then, it is what it is, in certain your dad would be proud of you. Have a great night dear

The most easy thing of Childhood has to be the fact that we were dependent. No issues. But now, we are not only responsible for our decisions and bills but also how life turns out for us. Adulthood is worth it when we give our all.
