Two Wheels, One Heartbeat: Why Cycling is More Than Just a Ride

So guys, have you ever felt the wind whispering secrets in your ears? Have you ever felt the sun painting your bike shiny? Have you ever felt your legs pump like the Earth's heartbeat? This is what cycling is all about. Trust me guys, cycling is more than just a sport or a way to get around. I see cycling as an adventure with nature.

Do you remember seeing those crazy riders in tight outfits climbing mountains with pained faces? Yeah, I remember seeing them too. At first, I thought they were just causing themselves unnecessary pain but then, after I decided to try riding a bicycle for the very first time, I had a different view about my initial thoughts and this is because every pedal stroke painted a picture in my mind and these pictures were all amplified by pure joy.

I want us to know that cycling is not just about the muscles, it is also about your mind too. I have come to realize that climbing these hills with your bicycle test your grit the same way the wind whispers doubts to your ear, but when you end up conquering each climb, it totally defies each of these things, and this makes you feel like beating your own limits.

Almost all of us know Onion right? The situation here is just like peeling the back of an onion, each pedal you take, reveals your inner strength, that your "never give up" spirit.

But the magic of cycling actually don't stop there since cyclists are like a big family. Theg share the road, the sweat, and the stories. They enjoy the high-fives on climbs, the water bottles on hot days, and also the cheers for each other's victories. This is the bond cyclists build, and this reminds us that we are all pedaling through life together.

I wouldn't forget to mention the freedom advantage cyclists have. Have we noticed that there is no traffic and no schedules for cyclist? It's virtually just them, their bike, and the open road. This is the reason you see most cyclists deciding that they want to be either a mountain conqueror, a hidden path explorer, or even just someone finding peace in the rhythm of the wheels.

I don't know how many people know this but the fact remains that Cycling breaks one free from the daily grind, and it always have a way of letting one's spirit soar with the wind.

So guys, are you a newbie to cycling or you are just curious about it? Are you scared of falling down while trying it out? Why not give it a try today. Trust me, it would totally be worth it and it would even totally change your life as it would go a long way to open your eyes to beauty, challenges, and a community you never knew existed.

Do join the ride, feel the wind, the sun, and the earth beneath your wheels. I bet in no time, you will discover the power of these two wheels.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Bicycle riding is full of fun especially when we're out for exercise but we'll not need to mind the sweetness on the road to avoid accident.

I've been there myself. Struggling to climb a steep mountain by bike wondering why in the world I wanted to do this. But the feeling of victory when you have conquered a climb makes up for all the pain.

I only took up cycling last year in July, and I am really enjoying it. I do mountain biking and gravel riding, although while practicing, we also do some road riding. I enjoy the single track Mountain biking the most.
