Polarcita for the traditional Beer night with friends 🍻

There's always a particular day of the week that I get to share a couple of beers with friends. We actually made a tradition out of it and its very nice to escape from our routine to have a laugh and listen to some nice music while we're at it.

Polarcita is a Pilsen type beer, and it is nicknamed "negrita" after the color of the bottle, because the other options from Polar's brewery are contained in clear bottles (Polar Ice, and Polar light. Both are more watery). It's alcohol content is 2.7 so it is a very refreshing beer with a nice bitter aftertaste.

It was my favorite when I was younger, I used to get the 350 ml bottle, now when we hangout we just get the bucket of 9 220ml bottles for only $5. Funny enough, when I moved out of the country I really missed this beer, but when I came back it was very underwhelming tasting them again... I even used to say that maybe the furmula had changed because they were like water to me. Once you try new things and widen your palate it can get disappointed going back.

Eventually I got used to them again and not it is a must whenever I'm out with friends for a quick drink before going home. For me it is more about the companionship and enjoying with my dear pals, its nice enjoying a flavorful beer, but polarcita will always have a place in my heart since it evokes so many good memories.
