Cross Culture Weekend Threads #25: Have you ever been stereotyped? What for?

This past week was awesome! It was one of our best weeks yet! 13 submissions total, so it was hard for me to choose the winners. Love it!

Not only that, the topic was really fun. Superstitions are one of those things we hardly think of in modern life but they really shaped the mindset of our parents and grandparents generations.

This week should be an interesting topic too!

This week’s topic

"Have you ever been stereotyped? What for?"

I would be surprised if anyone can say no. We are often stereotyped for our gender if nothing else, or perhaps our age. Many of us are probably stereotyped for our social status on job, or for how we look. In some countries race is often subject to stereotypes and in others it's tribe or religion. We can also be stereotyped by people from other countries or based on our likes or interests.

Please tell us about it in a thread!

Give us as much information as you care to.

Feel free to make multiple entries, as long as you take each entry seriously.

How to thread:

1 Go to Leo’s landing page and login to your hive account, choose which community to post a thread in with the little world icon and choose Cross Culture!
