Cross Culture Weekend Threads #14: Your favorite place

Last week was not bad! Not our best week but far from our worst. It seems these contests are losing some momentum in some other communities so I want to thank everyone for joining.

Cross Culture seems to be among the most popular 3 or 4 tags for the weekend contests. Just a reminder that you can use the tag for anything related to culture or life in your area, anything unique about your life that will be fresh or new to other people, not only the weekend threads contest.

Here we go...

This week’s topic

Show or Describe one of your favorite places

This will be a rather open ended question. It can be a place in your house, your favorite shop, somewhere in your neighborhood, another part of the city, a hideout, a night spot, a day spot, somewhere fun or relaxing. It can be somewhere you've been once and want to go again, or somewhere you go often. Nature or man-made, anything goes, as long as it's a place you love.

Tell us why you love it and show a picture of it if you have one. There is no priority to submissions with photos but photos help us get a feeling much better so you are encouraged to share a photo just for our viewing pleasure.

Submissions will be judged based on how well you can honestly express why you love that place.

Feel free to drop as many threads as you want. You can post in a single message or you share more details in the comments of your thread.

How to thread:

1 Go to Leo’s landing page and login to your hive account, choose which community to post a thread in with the little world icon and choose Cross Culture!

2 Go to Cross Culture and click on the threads tabs where you can post without having to set the community:

Please share us with your friends who might be interested in other cultures, the more people we reach the more people we can bring back to Hive.
