Cross Culture Weekend Threads #13: Let's see Food Products from your country

We have recovered from our dip in engagemnt, last week was much better than the week before but hopefully this week will be even better!

We will be changing the 1.5 HBD prize to a 1 HBD prize so we can have 3 winners for engagement. In the future, I want to have a contest for 1 month leo premium as well but that may be a month or two away.

I want to continue for a few more weeks with topics that encourage sharing of photographs because the visual input really helps us imagine the lifestyle better than anything.

But first...

This week’s topic

Show us a picture of a food product from your country

It sounds silly but one of the most exciting things for me to do when I go to a new country is to explore the convenience stores and supermarkets for snacks and other pre-packaged food, to see what kind of options are there.

Not everything fits my tastes, but it's still really interesting and helps you understand better what life is like there. I had never seen such a wide variety of packaged dried meat until I went to China, and in Japan, the candy and snacks blew me away at first. I had to make an effort not to get addicted.

You can focus on a single product but if you can see them clearly, feel free to put multiple products in one imagine. As usual, the winners will be decided by both the image and the description, so you can make up for a bad camera or shooting skills with a nice description, but obviously taking the picture so we can see the actual product is going to be good.

Would love to see both the product itself and the packaging!

Feel free to drop as many threads as you want. You can post in a single message or you share more details in the comments of your thread.
