Today I become a shadow hunter!

The truth is that I saw many people doing it, but with photography. As I am not good at photography, seeing this initiative raised my spirits! I've been playing only Mir4 for a few years now, an MMO that absorbs all my free time. Mostly because I have several accounts and I pilot the account of a guild colleague. The reality is that I make a few dollars a week and I settled for that mini extra income. I also have a character that is worth some money, but I wouldn't sell it today, I prefer to keep growing it and increase its value.

First those images i find more competitive for a contest.

But this opportunity gave me the chance to open games that I already had installed but due to laziness or lack of time I had not given them the tour they deserve. Such is the case of dying Light 2 a game with spectacular graphics. I turned up all the graphics to the maximum, which forced me to close the MMO account I had open, I have 24gb of RAM but for this kind of games the GPU consumption is bestial, while I was taking the pictures I could see my computer crying blood live.

First, before closing it I took some screenshots of Mir4, the truth is an Unreal Engine game, that being a few years old is half old and although it is enjoyable it has pretty mediocre graphics for an aesthetic contest. Besides, its capture system is simply bad, useless, limited; in short, a very unpleasant experience.

On the other hand, I think I was pretty lucky, Dying Light 2 has one of the most beautiful capture systems I had the idea of coming across. It works perfectly, the options are quite varied and it is agile, it doesn't hang and responds instantly.

With this game not only the process of finding the shadow was fun, but also choosing the filters, camera aperture, blur distance, contrast, intensity, and even adding a frame.

I took screenshots of the options to demonstrate the extent to which you can customize your photo. The truth is that it is an excellent function, very complete, and the scenery in the game is really beautiful and impressive. I made a couple of steps and I had to stop to take pictures. Not only of shadows, I really couldn't refuse to take some more interesting pictures of the video game environment, which is really beautiful.

Hello. Welcome and thank you for your contribution into the gaming photography community.

The truth is that I saw many people doing it, but with photography.

That's where the idea of this theme comes from. If the photographers in real life hunt shadows, why we can't do the same in gaming world?

I see you did hunt some cool shadows there. The shadow that you chose for the thumbnail is the best among all of them.

We look forward to see more of your special gaming moments.
