La vida en la ciudad es agitada, pocas veces podía sentarme a disfrutar un café, o quizás un helado que calmar el calor de las mañanas, el tráfico es desesperante y las personas sólo están enfocadas en llegar a trabajar y cumplir al pie de la letra con su rutina, ser puntual y no romper con los planes en su agenda. Con mucho por hacer, tomé un minuto para ver las miradas perdidas que provocaban los miles de compromisos diarios que tienen todos en este lugar, detuve el auto y decidí caminar y desconectarme de las preocupaciones a todo riesgo de las consecuencias.

Unos pasos más adelante, traté de relajar mi mente, bajar el ritmo de mis pasos y admirar el paisaje, observar el rostro feliz de los niños, miraba el arco perfecto de agua que dibujaba una fuente en medio de la plaza, decidí observar las nubes, mirar todo lo que estaba pasando desapercibido y luego vi ese puente, el mismo por el que pasaba todos los días en mi auto pendiente de las señales de tránsito y me sorprendí al darme cuenta que me había estado perdiendo de tanta belleza.

Un agua en calma, las flores con un color vibrante bajo el cálido sol y una arquitectura digna de admiración era la rutina que valía la pena vivir día tras día, me detuve un par de minuto para reflexionar y admiré cada segundo con el trinar de los pájaros en el fondo, sonreí y regresé al auto.

AL momento de tomar el volante respiré profundo, ya no quería ver personas apuradas, un tráfico pesado y la presión de llegar a tiempo.

Al día siguiente desperté media hora antes, el puente estaba esperando ser admirado por su belleza bajo el cielo azul y el cálido sol. Pude transitar sin prisa, en paz y con toda la buena actitud para comenzar un día rutinario con otra perspectiva.

Ahora sólo deseo admirar lo bello del paisaje y disfrutar el camino.

Life in the city is hectic, I could rarely sit down and enjoy a coffee, or maybe an ice cream to cool down the heat of the mornings, the traffic is desperate and people are only focused on getting to work and fulfilling their routine to the letter, being punctual and not breaking the plans in their agenda. With so much to do, I took a minute to see the lost looks that caused the thousands of daily commitments that everyone has in this place, I stopped the car and decided to walk and disconnect from the worries at all risk of consequences.

A few steps ahead, I tried to relax my mind, slow down my pace and admire the landscape, observe the happy face of the children, I looked at the perfect water arc that a fountain drew in the middle of the square, I decided to observe the clouds, look at everything that was happening unnoticed and then I saw that bridge, the same one I crossed every day in my car pending the traffic signals and I was surprised to realize that I had been missing so much beauty.

A calm water, the flowers with a vibrant color under the warm sun and an architecture worthy of admiration was the routine that was worth living day after day, I stopped for a couple of minutes to reflect and admire every second with the birdsong in the background, I smiled and returned to the car.

When I got behind the wheel I took a deep breath, I no longer wanted to see hurried people, a heavy traffic and the pressure of arriving on time.

The next day I woke up half an hour earlier, the bridge was waiting to be admired for its beauty under the blue sky and the warm sun. I could travel without hurry, in peace and with all the good attitude to start a routine day with another perspective.

Now I just want to admire the beauty of the landscape and enjoy the journey.
