Where joy knocks I go
Hello ladies of Hive darlings, happy weekend to you all. Before I dive into today's topic, I hope this year has been good to you all so far.
Let's get into the topic of the day.Let me create a scenario where my cousin's wedding is taking place on the same date as a huge family reunion, and it's also my best friend's wedding anniversary.
My cousin's wedding I might attend, but it depends on the state that this occasion is taking place actually, because if it's in the same state as mine, I won't be missing from any of them, but I might be late to some of them.
One thing I am considering is time. If the wedding is taking place at ten o'clock in the morning, I might attend the church ceremony and leave the reception. Then I will head to my friend's wedding anniversary. Let's say it's taking place at two o'clock. By five o'clock, I should have excused myself to go straight to the family reunion, which has never been my favorite gathering at all.
In an occasion where the event is taking place in a different state, I will have a serious issue deciding between my cousin's wedding and my best friend's anniversary to attend. That being said, it equally depends on the cousin who is getting married. Although I will attend my cousin's wedding if they're my favorite cousin, if not, straight to my bestie's anniversary.
I will choose my cousin's wedding because I have already attended my best friend's wedding before. Now it's just her anniversary, and there are many more anniversaries to come. As for the family reunion, I won't even think in that direction because most of the time, it always brings back sad memories, fake lives, joyful memories too. At times old wounds are being opened fresh again.
I will attend my cousin's wedding because it is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, unless death do them part or divorce. I will never get the opportunity to celebrate with her on her happiest day ever again.Such a scenario has happened to me before, but it was on my birthday, a friend's wedding, and another friend's child naming ceremony. The good thing is it happened in the same state and the times didn't clash, so I was able to attend all events, including my birthday, but I was so exhausted at the end of the day.

I like how you created a scenario out of the prompt :)
This made me laugh. It sounded like you have a least favorite cousin (I think we all do), lol!

Yes. I do have favourites
For me, the decision depends on the family relationship that exists. There are families that are not as close as friends 😊

Dear friend, what I can tell you is that you would be very exhausted at the end of the day. Hehe but the truth is that the 3 commitments are very difficult to say no to.
