Career Guidance Culminating Activity 2024 Experience 👩🏼‍⚕️💉

Today, our agenda is to tackle what happened during our career guidance culmination yesterday.

Have you ever dreamed of being successful one day? Well, I guess all of us want to be professionals and achieve our career goals someday.

Yesterday, we had our communication session about our future careers. Now, let's dive into the fun and memorable day of my life. Join me as I share the highlights and insights from our career guidance experience!

CAREER GUIDANCE?🤷🏼‍♀️🧐

What is career guidance you may ask? Career guidance is the guidance given to individuals to help them acquire the knowledge, information, skills, and experience necessary to identify career options, and narrow them down to make one career decision. This career decision then results in their social, financial, and emotional well-being throughout. (Mindler,2024).

HAPPENINGS YESTERDAY 😍✨

Around 1 pm, the program started for our Communication. The Grade 10 students were ready to walk and showcase our future professions. We had a short walking introduction to start the program for the day.

After our entrance, we then proceeded to have the Philippine Anthem and pray for guidance to have a successful event for the day.

DISCUSSION FOR THE STRANDS🧐🧑‍🏫

STEM STRAND

The first agenda for the discussion is the STEM Standard (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics). At this moment right here the speaker talks about what careers would be suitable for this Strand, Like for example Engineering, Teachers(Major in Math and Science), Medical Fields, and many more. At that time I learned that I should take the STEM strand because my future career involved the Medical Field, Med tech to be exact.

ABM STRAND

ABM stands for Accountancy, Business, and Management. ABM is indeed the right track not only for aspiring accountants but also for those interested in entrepreneurship. Many entrepreneurs are shown to us that are now successful Like Henry Sy and many more.

HUMSS STAND

HUMSS stands for Humanities and Social Sciences. At this moment, I am very impressed with how the speaker talks about the HUMSS strand. Everything is very detailed, and you can easily catch up on what he was discussing. They say HUMSS is the strand for you when you are good at talking and socializing with people. Well, I guess it's true, just the way the teacher talks about the strand. I got carried away by his persuasive speech, feeling more drawn towards exploring HUMSS further.

TVL STRAND

The last but not the least, the TVL strand? What could be the careers that are suitable for this strand? Well, from what I have learned, the careers that are fitting for this strand include cookery, home economics, electrical engineering, animation, computer programming, and many more.

After all the presentations, the MC announced that each of us would showcase our future professions on stage, with ten participants at a time. It was an exciting opportunity to share our aspirations and inspire others with our chosen career paths.

Many things happened just for half a day, full of new experiences and new information about what could be the track that is suitable for our careers, It was such a beautiful day indeed. Another beautiful experience in life of mine that should be Cherish.
