I tell you how it was to make the dark POSSESSED PUPPET and the step by step as always.

Hola blogueros espero estén muy bien, el día de hoy les traigo una nueva entrada al concurso semanal de arte de @splinterlands esta vez escogí una carta que pertenece a los elementos de muerte, lo que principalmente me gusta de esta carta es el lado infantil y a la vez oscuro que tiene, además que contiene la paleta de color que me encanta usar en una ilustración. Te cuento como fue hacer a la oscura POSSESSED PUPPET y el paso a paso como siempre.

In the sketch stage I had the idea of imagining her floating, I imagined her a little more diabolical and independent than what we always see her represented in series or movies, I made her more human and powerful, floating on waves of energy made of blood.

En la etapa del boceto tuve la idea imaginándola flotando, me la imaginé un poco mas diabólica e independiente de lo que siempre la vemos representadas en series o películas, la puse mas humana y poderosa, flotando sobre olas de energía hechas de sangre.

This gave a much more powerful touch to the composition, besides, in my opinion this character doesn't have very flashy elements and it was more fun to play with things that could combine with the environment and with the character, I also added a power source represented with a giant skull that contains all the evil power of the character.

Esto le dio un toque mucho más poderoso a la composición, además que a mi parecer este personaje no tiene elementos muy llamativos y se me hizo mas divertido jugar con cosas que podrían combinar con el entorno y con el personaje, además agregué una fuente de poder representada con una calavera gigante que contiene todo el poder maligno del personaje.

I don't like to put elaborate backgrounds to my fanart because I feel that sometimes I ruin them and the background attracts more attention than the character, but this time I liked the idea so much that I couldn't avoid doing it Xd. I like those moments because I've realized that those are the moments when I have a lot of creativity and the ideas come out right the first time and without thinking too much.

Poco me gusta colocarle fondos elaborados a mis fanart porque siento que a veces los arruino y llama mas la atención el fondo que el personaje, pero esta vez me gustó tanto la idea que no pude evitar hacerla Xd. Me gustan esos momentos porque me he dado cuenta que son los momentos cuando tengo mucha creatividad y las ideas me salen bien a la primera y sin pensarlo mucho.

In the color I used colors quite similar to the original because there was not much opportunity to change the tones, I only played a little with the color of her hair, and the rest I left the work of the final touch to the backlit lights in the background, I chose that violet color so suitable when you want to express magic, mystery and evil. En el color utilicé colores bastantes parecidos al original porque no había mucha oportunidad de cambiar los tonos, solo jugué un poco con el color de su cabello, y lo demás le dejé el trabajo del toque final a las luces de contraluz del fondo, elegí ese color violeta tan idóneo cuando se quiere expresar magia, misterio y maldad.
