My last sunset in my old apt for The 'Love The Clouds' Contest! #102
I loved my old apt and when I say old, I only moved out a couple of days ago and NOT by choice cause I LOVE the afternoon sun streaming in and splashing everything in a beautiful refreshing happy yellow glaze.
I also loved my view- which everyone tells me I have better now cause I'm on the 28th floor and then I was only on the 9th, but the view I loved was one of simple beauty- it was the stunning deep turquiose blue of the pool next door surrounded by the lush green of their garden, the leafy green tree tops on the street just below and coloured lights, twinkling in the background and here it is below.
And not to mention the absolutely dazzling #sunsets with #clouds of all shapes, sizes, colours and adorning the sky- sitting, sliding, slinking, zooming along on the #horizon, night after night.
Now I see millions of lights shining through the windows of drab grey buildings and the morning sun, furiously penetrating through my closed eyes, making me furious, for I am not a morning person- in any way, shape, or form. And as much as I adore the sun, I don't want to see it before midday thanks and then bring it on!!!
But I am really and truly incredibly grateful for what I have got- a new home and hopefully for a long time too cause moving was a nightmare!
Anyway, here are my last 2 sunsets in my beloved and terribly missed old apt for @tobetada in the 102nd issue of the 'Love The Clouds' Contest!

Lovely sky. Sorry you had to move into a new apartment and hopefully there will be some benefits to your new one.
Tip
Yes I will miss those sunsets, but I will see others...and yes there is benefits- such as now having nice brown carpet instead of gray (I can't STAND gray...🤢) and having much cheaper rent too for the same sized place...

Sorry to hear you had to leave your old place and not by choice. Moving sucks especially when it is under those circumstances. I hope the energies are still flowing good in your new place and you get used to it. Why did you have to move if I may ask?
I had to move cause the landlord needs to sell. Such a shame cause I've been there 3yrs and loved walking into my home...but when you're a renter, you'l always be at the mercy of the owners...Even in the new one- and I'm almsot afraid to unpack cause 12month lease goes so fast and I'll be so 'unhappy' if I c=have to move again in 12months...
When I have unpacked and set everything up properly, the good vibes will flow again, I just won't have that calm blue, peaceful green, happy yellow and warming orange to look out on...obviously colours are extremely important to me...and gray is my worst nemesis and makes me violently ill...🤢
I have been told a few times that I am a lightworker- but I don't do anything with colour intentionally- just drown myself in it...and gray does make me quite unconciously angry too...even though I am one of the most naturally, intrinsically happy people 95% of the time...anyhoooo....🤣
@chocolatescorpi Oh I know what you are talking about. I have been moving 4 times within a year once and many times throughout my life. When being part of the military it was always "Home is where the army sends you", but that was ok as you didn't had to worry about a home lol.
The whole leasing/renting things are different in Germany, luckily cause I know how much it sucks having a one year lease. But still you are at the mercy here as well, if they claim their properties for own use you have to go. And it is hard to impossible to find affordable housing here, it is just nuts and the number of homeless growing constantly, besides having jobs. People just cannot afford it anymore and I only got lucky with my place, as of now. Even though I have been living for many years out of boxes cause I never planned to stay here longer, but life has its own rules.
When it comes to the colors it is proven that they have a direct impact on brain activities and moods, so you are instinctively going for them.
