El nacimiento y los reyes magos... Gracias al amigo @lanzjoseg por esas imágenes que a publicado últimamente que me traen recuerdos de mi infancia y juventud, para mi el nacimiento tiene un gran significado porque refleja el nacimiento del niño Jesús, tiempo de paz y reconciliación familiar.
En mi tierra natal San tomé en el estado Anzoátegui estaba el padre Martínez. El padre Martinez todos los años hacía un nacimiento muy hermoso y cuidaba cada detalle, cada año lo iba mejorando y todo tenía movimiento, era un verdadero espectáculo ver todo aquello de gran tamaño, y tan bien diseñado, casi que te transportabas a Belén a aquel establo donde nació el redentor, iba mucha gente a verlo porque se corría la voz del hermoso nacimiento en la iglesia de San tomé, lastima que al irse el padre también se fue el hermoso nacimiento, si ponían pero no tenía la misma belleza y dedicación, no se como será ahora porque tengo muchos años sin ir para allá.
Mi madrina vivía al lado de mi casa y yo vivía más con ella que en mi propia casa y yo la acompañaba a la sabana con 2 sacos a buscar un monte que abunda mucho por la sabana y con eso ella hacía el nacimiento, primero con piedras, bloques y todo lo que sirviera para darle forma a las montañas, luego forraba todo eso con papel de bolsa e iba poniendo ese monte que parecían montañas miniaturas, recuerdo que ella ponía mucho esmero en cada detalle para su nacimiento y hasta que tuvo fuerzas para hacerlo mantuvo su tradición.
Yo nunca e puesto un nacimiento, pero se que estas fechas son para compartir en familia y dar gracias a Dios por todas sus bendiciones y aunque uno cuando niño solo ve a los reyes magos como esos señores que traen regalos porque esa es la tradición, claro por que ellos llegaron guiados por la estrella a llevar regalos al niño Jesús.
Es hermoso que aun en tiempo de crisis muchas personas conservan la tradición familiar.

The Nativity and the Magi.... Thanks to my friend @lanzjoseg for those images that he has published lately that bring back memories of my childhood and youth, for me the nativity has a great meaning because it reflects the birth of the baby Jesus, time of peace and family reconciliation.
In my homeland San Tome in the state of Anzoategui there was Father Martinez. Father Martinez every year made a very beautiful nativity scene and took care of every detail, every year he improved it and everything had movement, it was a real spectacle to see all that big size, and so well designed, you were almost transported to Bethlehem to that stable where the Redeemer was born, many people went to see it because the word of the beautiful birth in the church of San Tome, too bad that when the father left the beautiful birth was also gone, if they put but did not have the same beauty and dedication, I do not know how it will be now because I have many years without going there.
My godmother lived next to my house and I lived more with her than in my own house and I accompanied her to the savannah with 2 sacks to find a mountain that abounds in the savannah and with that she made the birth, first with stones, blocks and everything that served to shape the mountains, then she lined all that with paper bag and was putting that mountain that looked like miniature mountains, I remember that she put much care in every detail for his birth and until she had strength to do it she kept her tradition.
I have never put up a nativity scene, but I know that these dates are to share with family and thank God for all his blessings and although as a child one only sees the wise men as those gentlemen who bring gifts because that is the tradition, of course because they came guided by the star to bring gifts to the baby Jesus.
It is beautiful that even in times of crisis many people keep the family tradition.
