Loh contest #175. Family sacrifice is a must for women

A Woman is always expected to make sacrifices for her family. Have you ever sacrificed anything important for your loved ones and never spoken about it? Would you like to share your story with us?

Sacrifice in my own understanding means, denying myself or yourself something in other to please another person or in other to make someone else feels comfortable. Now, when it comes for family sacrifices, women are the pioneers. How? A woman will sacrifice a good nine months of inconveniences to give birth to a child. Sacrifice Many months or years to train up her child. Still sacrifice her time, care, attention, love, etc to her husband and other family members. So, women sacrifice a lot. As a woman, i do sacrifice for my family, almost every day. Waking up early to prepare my child for school, hustling to make money to care for her is a sacrifice including others that i cannot mention now. Just of recently, i sacrificed for a loved one and i haven't spoken about it. And that's the story I want to share with you.

Take a good look at my first thumbnail photo, did you notice a young man covered with rapper? Yeah! He is undergoing natural treatments after being in the hospital for months. Though he is not my biological brother but a brother to my husband. He has no wife nor children. Why he was hospitalized, i and hubby took it up to ourselves to be with him. I wash his clothes, prepare meals for him and some days, slept in the hospital with them. After undergoing neck surgery, he was hospitalized again on 26th of January 2024. He has been bleeding blood from the nose and mouth. Can't breath from his nose. It was a cronic illness. Since then, i have been washing everything he bleeds on. Hoping he will get better.

Immediately the bleeding stop's, his body system changed from good to worst.

Instead of getting better, he is going down everyday. I didn't leave his side. But was in the hospital for a period of 1 month plus. My time, money and resources was sacrificed in order to save his life. On 26th February 2024, he was discharged from the hospital. From there, he was taking to another hospital to undergo some natural remedies. After two days of treatment, he regained some strength. I was very happy because his health has deprived me of so many things. I don't have time for myself, my daughter and my business including my blogging. All was sacrificed in other to save a soul.

Treatment going on.

I was super excited to see him getting better. On 29th February, his body system changed drastically i couldn't do or achieve anything that day. To the point he deficated on his body without knowing. I changed and washed those clothes he messed up on. Throughout the night i couldn't sleep nor eat. I was giving him attention to the point that i forgot to take my dinner. It was around 1:am March first that i became so hungry. That's when i remembered that i haven't taking any food nor warm my food. Throughout the night, he wasn't breathing well. Around 4:26 am. I started having strong feelings about him. When i checked on him, i noticed that he won't make it anymore. His breathing changed, he couldn't answer his name's nor do anything for himself. Though he is breathing but the strength is no longer there.

We get him dressed up and put all his belongings together so that we can take him home before he gaves up to the ghost. Before if he could die there, it will cost us a lot of money to carry him home as a cops because his treatment was in another city far from home. Before 6:am, we are already in the government public park. We waited for the park to resume work by 6:am. And when the manger came, he was rejected. While hubby was with him, i was busy running around to see that everything about the movement works out. I was directed to a private park which agreed to carry him. We paid a huge amount of money before they accepted to carry him with a special car. After all these sacrifices guess what happened at last. We lost him that same day. He died towards evening and was burried the next day being Saturday second March 2024. All my sacrifice, efforts, time, prayers and money was just in vain. Am still morning but wanted to share this painful sacrifing story of mine with you.
