WOMEN AND SHOPPING

We all shop. be it out of necessity or not. Nost of the things we own, we purchased. But maybe because women are found the most in marketplaces, they are called the most shoppers.

Both men and women love shopping just as much. It is neither specifically nor universally female to love to shop. From where I stand, the men do the most. My brothers, as an example,do much more purchases than I ever would think to. Always shopping outfits, shoes, groceries, gadgets, skincare, etc.

One, from the lot has had me telling him that he has a problem. Once he sees a thing of fancy to him, the next minute, he's hitting the order button. You may just be pushed to say that it's stuff he can afford, that's why. But then, isn't that same for some of the women as used in this context?

On the flip side, i realize that it's about women today, so I'd stay on course.

Let's assume that a whooping 90% of women love to shop. I can say that I belong with the rest 10% who do not. I know that the activity is thrilling and fun and of course tiring(which is somewhat dependent on where you go to shop, money available and what you're getting) but it doesn't exactly give me all the chills . Maybe it does, only jusr a little, but not in all that impulsiveness and frenzy that women shopping has come to be associated with.

Moving on, I must say that women shop because they need to. From household groceries, to whatever. There's a need to be met and they take up that responsibility.

Oersonally, I have no craze in me over shopping. I like to just stick to my needs and occasionally, my wants. but from observation, I have learned that women shop for varying reasons.

Some women shop as an avenue to let off steam or just relax. For some, whenever they are sad or happy or nervous, they want to get something. These ones are referred to as emotional spenders. Any little thing could be a trigger.
Then there's those who are so in love with fashion and always want to keep up. To their advantage, the women fashion line gets to have new trends almost on a daily basis. so in the quest to stay in vogue, they go shopping.

There should be a ton of other reasons why women shop as they do but these are the most known to me. But one thing I know too is that women have money and they know that money is for spending and one exciting way to go about that is to shop. So tell me, why not?
