WE CAN START WITH BEING HUMANE

Inorder that our lives and the world as a whole be better, it is essential that we all put out heads together and play our cards right. Not one man/woman can fix the issues bothering us if the rest of us are indifferent.
A better world is possible and we know that.

Every one of us could roll our a number of to-dos which we are certain can make for a better world.
On Tuesday, I was in this conversation and one of the few things I pointed out was how I assume it necessary that we put aside religion and tribe(these two especially) if we hope to make contributions devoid of bias and pass sound judgement.

For a lot of us over here, those greatly determine how well we treat people.

I long realized how easily our lives revolve around those two and how the good we do mostly borders around them(which in itself isn't a bad thing) but is bursting with adverse effects to those who bear opposite convictions to us. We also quickly forget that to effect change and ensure a safe, happy world, we fist start with doing or bit.
I digress .

There's only but a few things that I can recommend for a better world but that which I resound often and which is chief on that list is HUMANITY.
Yup, Humanity. Be humane.

Kindness, for example, which is one attribute everyone "claims" to possess is lacking. Most of us are selectively kind. And that is why a person would treat another better based on face value and the benefits they uppose they would get back for their kindness to that person.

Meanwhile, I am not here to pass on myself as the most kind person but of course, I am very much invested in being perfect at it. It does good to my wellbeing, adds a bit of colour to the world and, a little can go a very long way.

Humanity is simply treating others just as you'd treat your close/loved ones and also expect to be treated. It's telling yourself that because a persons words/actions hurt you, you will try to not replicate on someone else.

It is respecting people's opinions and boundaries and choices. It is putting aside the differences as age, status, qualification, beliefs, etc and treating people with kindness and respect, noting that before everything else, we're humans first.

Ever met anyone who dished out same level of vibe and courtesy to different people (high class, low class, small, big)? I'm certain you greatly admired them and thought them full of love. How would you like for that person to be you?

Humanity encapsulates - but is not limited to love, respect, kindness, forgiveness. I believe very much that that is the very first step to achieving a better society.
And the very day we all assume that value, that might just be the beginning of us making the baby steps to a world that the word blissful would not perfectly describe.
