NOT THE BEST BUT ONE OF THE BEST

Best gift I ever got? I do not agree that any one gift I got wasn't the best. If someone took the pains to get you something, anything at all, then you should hold it in esteem.

So many times, I've received items that I cherish. And a lot of times too, these were given on just ordinary days(not like a special occasion thing.)

Over the years, I have been gifted different things in cash and tangible items. I tell you that I went blank thinking of an exact gift that quadrupled the rush of excitement receiving it got me when compared to others. I still had to deal with making a hierarchy for as many gifts I recall that I have gotten and it was overwhelming for me. Every new gift hits just the right spots.

Just this past few weeks, I have received items ranging from really nice sneakers to perfumes to trackwears to wrist watches to gadgets. Heck! Thank you for this prompt because it made me realize I had gotten so much in just this short time until I got to writing this part.

You can imagine how happy it made me to be getting all these. I don't think I asked for any of them and you can only assume just how much it cost in amount or resource to get those for me. Because I cannot pin one thing to be best, I will tell of of one gift I never saw coming that blew me away.

So I had just written my senior certificate exams and gone back home. My mum had given me a clue out of her own excitement that one of my brothers had gotten me something to mark the feat. Returning home from work, my brother-handed me a package. Unwrapping it, I could tell that it was something heavy and really solid. On opening, I was met with a beautiful laptop system. The very first I ever owned. My jaw dropped. My emotions heightened.

It was the mini sized HP laptop. I was very excited that my heart swelled and could almost have burst from all that Joy. It was expensive, I could tell. I had always wanted to own a system although I had access to the ones at home. It was a very thoughtful gift. I felt fly. Super elated and absolutely grateful. At the time, my brother didn't even have so much. He was barely working a couple jobs to earn some cash and I knew the gift created some dent in his pocket. But that guy likes to spoil me sillly.

The feeling having my own device gave me was indescribable. I held the gift tight)y, looked it over a hundred times and kept playing with it. I could not believe. There weren't even many folks around my age who I knew owned systems. Haven been around computers long enough, I already knew my way and so I jumped right in. I no longer had to lend any of my siblings' to do whatever I wanted. I had my own and it was a great feeling.

Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!

Himself, and all our other brothers are so amazing. I'm very lucky. I hope too, that I just do not get to only do one really big something for them but to spoil them everyday.

I must say you have a great brother even though he doesn't have much he still gifted your brand-new laptop.
