IT'S MOSTLY CALM AROUND HERE...

Pollution happens in varying forms. Noise pollution happens to be the most prominent, maybe because it's easily one of those that happen from the basic of ways, especially as regards human interaction.

I dislike noise very much, just as much as I dislike light. If you knew me from when i began here, you may recall that I wrote about those in my introduction post. Noise pollution of whatever kind gives me a headache first, makes me lose concentration and goes ahead to lower my productivity.

And most certainly, you may never find me at places with deafening sounds and/or loud talks. I'm that person that would put the TV's volume at the lowest and while everyone says they can't hear what is playing, it's different for me. In some instances, I go to reduce the volume of a playing record because I consider it too noisy, only to realize that it is at the barest. I thrive really well in quiet atmospheres.

A couple weeks before now, I had to put up with so much noise. There was little to nothing I could do about it. Those were really troubling times. I was mostly disoriented and working on my nerves. A state of hysteria, if I may call it that. And because it wasn't something I was accustomed to, important areas of my life suffered.

I'm out of there now, the noise has decreased by a mile and I am somewhat calm and better. Still, noise isn't totally eradicated. My neighbors are no issue. Even if they were, I don't know how I can stop them from anything. Occasionally they do some wonder like every human can. I don't even know them as we're all behind our tall fences. They hardly even make any noise.

...........................................................................

But now, here, this is where all the problem lies. As I write this, I'm nursing a bad headache. To worsen things, there's an ongoing church service in the area. Only meters away. The singing, shouting and drumming would go on for longer. This should be strictly a residential area, but well...

I can't even look forward to a restful evening because the same place of worship holds a vigil every Friday. Actually, there's two of them who do. In opposite sides of my residence. And all of the individual activities happening almost at same time make for a destructive interference. All morning I have been struggling to compose myself well enough to write something but I neither feel clear headed nor calm enough.

The noise from the worship centers is mostly all the noiss there is around here. I don't think there's anything I could do to make them stop. After all, service holds for a few hours. I simply look for something and immerse myself in. Sleeping is definitely out of it. Besides that, and maybe the sometimes scratchy sound from my dad's radio, and their tendency to turn volumes really high, of which I have some control over, it's all cool around here.
That's all about that.

Noise can't help us in sleeping. Indeed, no one likes noise and it is the worst form of pollution because it directly affects our brain. It is good if we take protective measures to save ourselves from this type of pollution.

Absolutely!
It's very unhealthy and we all should see to it that we minimize it to the barest. Thanks for coming around.
