Pude comprar algunos los ingredientes para hacer suficientes Hallacas, me falta comprar otros, de manera que alcancen para comerlas en lo que queda del mes de Diciembre y en la preparación del plato navideño. Acompañándolas como es la tradición en las familias venezolanas del pernil, pan de jamón y la ensalada.

Es un mes alegre para muchos, pero también triste y nostálgico porque esconde el dolor para otros, por las sillas vacías de los seres que se nos han adelantado en el camino, como mi madre que partió hace ya cuatro meses de éste plano terrenal.

Me reconforta pensar siempre bonito, persiste en mi mente que su alma está descansando, me cuida, y si me ve triste, no se sentirá bien. Agradezco a Dios por el tiempo vivido, compartido con amor y sabiduría. No debo perder la ilusión de la Navidad, fue ella quien me enseñó a vivirla.

It is a happy month for many, but also sad and nostalgic because it hides the pain for others, because of the empty chairs of those who have gone before us on the road, like my mother who left this earthly plane four months ago.

Mi deseo mágico para la temporada navideña sería que ella bajara por unos momentos desde el cielo, que estuviera a mi lado, me gustaría abrazarla, decirle que siempre la llevo en mi pensamiento y el corazón, que toda mi vida estaré agradecida con ella por todo el ejemplo, enseñanzas, la crianza y ese amor que sólo una madre puede dar, que la extraño mucho, en casa a todos nos hace falta y que deseo que no esté sufriendo de ninguna enfermedad.
