Games at the beach. POBphotocontest: Round

Beach days are exciting days with lots of games, especially when you take young children to the beach.

Soccer

One of the classic games we play on our beaches in Spain is football. Especially if there's a group of children, even if we adults can't help kicking the ball around.

Castles and sand sculptures

My art as a sand sculptor is precarious, but one day when I was at the beach I came across some strange sand sculptures in the shape of a turtle and a shark.

As my skills are different from building sand castles, I dedicated myself to burying my cousin in the sand.

Frisbee

The game I played most on the beach last August was undoubtedly the beach disc.

We played with it for hours as a family.

And when the disc fell on the wet sand and rolled over it, it left a striking spiral shape that allowed me to take this photo, which has gone into my archive of minimalist photos with a circular subject that I'm submitting to the #POBphotocontest organised by @friendlymoose.
