Weekend Engagement #175: Couples weekend, nature and TV marathon

Hello to everyone in The Weekend Experiences community! Today I'm joining the weekend concept to answer some of the topics raised. So let's get started.

As the day and this week are almost over, I feel a lot of peace of mind knowing that I was able to do some of the things I had planned even though some of them didn't work out. For this Saturday I had planned to travel with my partner to an area of my city called San Felix. There we would go to bathe in the "Caroní", a beautiful river, but unfortunately we could not get there because it started to rain and we could not go down. It is dangerous to go when it rains because the flow rises and the currents become terrible, making it impossible to go swimming.

However, we did not give up with the idea of doing something special for us this Saturday and Sunday. So we waited for the afternoon to arrive and went downtown to take some pictures. He, my partner, is teaching me how to take pictures and these are the ones you see on the screen. After that walk, we went to buy some Chinese food, some sweets and drinks to get ready to watch a marathon of the series Lost. Which we've been hooked on for a while and are looking forward to finishing.

It was a quiet but very sweet weekend and that's what I enjoyed the most; spending quality couple time. What I would have liked to have done was go to the river, but the second plan fit perfectly for us. And regarding what I will read or listen to, I was this weekend "glued" to singer Avril Lavigne. I think nostalgia came to my door with some of her songs. Without further ado, thank you very much for stopping by and reading my post. I send you a big hug and see you next time.

You were not able to go to canori but still you will able to have quality couple time in other different activities and that what is important.
