Greetings dear Ladies of Hive community, I hope you are well🤗🌹.

I consider myself very lucky because I grew up in a home, although very humble, it was a place where we were surrounded by many flowers and fruit trees.
My mother is in love with flowers, I have never met someone who loves and takes care of a garden with so much dedication, I remember my childhood home a tree that was my favorite there I would ride to play and there was a time when that tree was full of many orchids the truth was a very beautiful thing, and so many other flowers around, Roses, Geraniums, Cayenas, plus a Guava tree and a Cambur tree, my mother moved but in her new home she has another wonderful garden and almost every time I visit her she gives me a plant or seed for me to plant in my house.

I recently renewed an old interest in gardening, as a hobbyist growing flowers, fruits and vegetables outside my home, I may not save much on my food expenses, but this is more for personal satisfaction and to relearn old skills, do you have a garden or wish you had one? what would you like to grow in your little paradise?

Currently I live in a residence in which each apartment has a small place to have a garden, I am lucky that my husband loves plants and flowers and we both agreed to work on having a beautiful garden full of plants that contribute to our food and also some roses and decorative plants.

It has been a process because we live in a place of beach and sand and there are plants that we would like to have that cannot grow here, but that has not stopped us, right now we are harvesting a chili that is very small but very hot and I use it to make my savory recipes, we have also planted healing plants, such as Oregano Orejón, and Yerbabuena that we use a lot for the flu, stomach aches and menstrual cramps.

At this moment a bush called Purslane is growing and when the time comes to harvest it I will use it in my salads, because it is very beneficial for health.

As I also like to have flowers, we have planted one called Rosa Bebe, it is a beauty and in the months of May and June is when it is most beautiful, besides it multiplies, and many buds open and then we can see it in all its splendor, it gives a lot of life to our small garden when it blooms.

I also have some decorative plants that my mother gave me, those I can have inside the apartment although I have to get a better soil for them to become much more beautiful, so I have work to do.

Our garden is growing, for us it is just the beginning because we would like to plant Cherrys Tomatoes, Chives and whatever we can think of that we know can grow there, also I would love to have more Roses and Flowers of different colors.

Saludos querida comunidad de Ladies of Hive, espero y se encuentren muy bien🤗🌹.

Me considero muy afortunada porque crecí en un hogar, aunque muy humilde, fue un lugar en donde estábamos rodeados de muchas flores y árboles frutales.
Mi madre es una enamorada de las flores, nunca he conocido a alguien que ame y cuide con tanta dedicación un jardín, recuerdo la casa de mi infancia un árbol que era mi preferido allí me montaba a jugar y hubo un tiempo que ese árbol estaba lleno de muchas orquídeas la verdad era una cosa hermosísima, y así muchas otras flores alrededor, Rosas, Geranios, Cayenas, además de aun árbol de Guayaba y otro de Cambur, ya mi madre se mudó pero en su nuevo hogar tiene otro maravilloso jardín y casi siempre que la visito me regala alguna planta o semilla para que la siembre en mi casa.

Recientemente renové un viejo interés por la jardinería, como aficionada al cultivo de flores, frutas y verduras fuera de mi casa, puede que no ahorre mucho en mis gastos de comida, pero esto es más para satisfacción personal y para volver a aprender viejas habilidades, tienes un jardín o desearías tener uno? que te gustaría cultivar en tu pequeño paraíso?

Actualmente vivo en una residencia en la cual cada apartamento tiene un pequeño lugar para tener un jardín, tengo la suerte que mi esposo ama las plantas y las flores y los dos nos pusimos de acuerdo para trabajar en tener un hermoso huerto lleno de plantas que contribuyan a nuestra alimentación y también algunas rosas y plantas decorativas.

Ha sido un proceso porque vivimos en un lugar de playa y arena y hay plantas que quisiéramos tener que aquí no pueden crecer, pero eso no nos ha detenido, ahora mismo estamos cosechando un chile que es muy pequeñito pero bien picante y ese lo uso para hacer mis recetas saladas, también hemos sembrado plantas curativas, como es el Orégano Orejón, y la Yerbabuena que lo usamos mucho para la gripe, los dolores estomacales y para los cólicos en la menstruación.

En este momento está creciendo una mata llamada Verdolaga que cuando llegue el tiempo de cosecharla la voy a usar en mis ensaladas, pues es muy beneficiosa para la salud.

Como me gusta también tener flores, hemos sembrado una que se llama Rosa Bebe, es una hermosura y en los meses de Mayo y Junio es cuando está más hermosa, además se multiplica, y salen muchos botones que abren y entonces podemos verla en todo su esplendor,ella le da mucha vida a nuestro pequeño jardín cuando florece.

También tengo unas plantas decorativas que me regalo mi madre, esas las puedo tener dentro del apartamento aunque tengo que conseguir una mejor tierra para que se pongan mucho más hermosas, así que tengo trabajo por hacer.

Nuestro jardín está creciendo, para nosotros apenas es el comienzo porque quisiéramos sembrar Tomates Cherrys, Cebollín y lo que se nos ocurra que sepamos que pueda crecer allí, además me encantaría tener más Rosas y Flores de diferentes colores.
