Unveiling the BuzzParty App for "Walk Bridges - Build Bridges"

We are excited to see that you all are interested in the BuzzParty 2024 "Walk Bridges - Build Bridges" in Hamburg, Germany. 15 Hivers already bought their symbolic ticket for 5 HBD to make our planning and the many reservations (restaurants, ferry ride, etc.) much easier. If you also want to attend the party make sure to check the ticket information at the bottom of this post!

Just open this link on your phone: https://buzzparty.tibfox.com and install it as an app for the best experience. We chose this way for easy updates and to work well on different devices.
In the future, this app might be used for other big Hive events too. All the info is stored in a database, and it's pretty flexible!
The app right now is just for getting information and doesn't require your Hive account. In the future, we might add a login for fun features like challenges or comments. We'll see! 😊
deutsche ÜbersetzungMomentan dient die App nur zur Informationsverteilung und erfordert daher kein Hive-Konto. In Zukunft könnte es allerdings Features geben, die einen Login unterstützen wie z.B. Challenges oder Kommentare. Wir werden sehen! 😊If you want to support the event with a HBD/HIVE donation, you can do it through the main menu though. We use Hivesigner, so you don't need an extra login. It would be awesome if you could send some small gifts to buzzparty in order to make the event more fun / more tasty / more exciting for the attendees.
All the funds will go towards the event!
Wenn Du die Veranstaltung mit einer HBD/HIVE-Spende unterstützen möchten, kannst Du das aber bereits jetzt über das Hauptmenü tun. Wir benutzen Hivesigner, du brauchst also kein extra Login.

It looks like it doesn't work if the GPS is off... When I turned it on, it worked... 👍
Ahhh yes, the app needs GPS to work properly - for the locations list: there will be a distance indicator soon for each location. That's why it already needs GPS now :P (Thanks for the reminder haha)

For a meetup in Germany not using the #deutsch tag and hiding the German translation is a bit strange.

The main language of the event (it will not be an ordinary meetup) will be English. We have a lot of attendees already coming from outside of the DACH room so I don't see a reason to hide the language more attendees can understand. Or did you have seen a Dutch post about the Hivefest in Amsterdam with hidden English translations? Probably not because most of the people on Hive try to include as many people as possible and so do we :)
