1/5oz 2021 Gold Barbados Trident / Reblog lottery

If you haven't yet seen a Barbados Trident, then you're in for a treat! Whether it's gold or silver, the Barbados Trident minted by Scottsdale Mint is a stunning piece! Each Trident is a proof-like strike, and the amount of detail they fit into each coin is impressive!

Obverse
The obverse features a simple, but elegant trident design. If you look closely, you can see small, ocean-wave-like lines that radiate out from the center. The dotted border adds a little extra "flavor" without detracting from the viewer's focus on the trident.

Reverse
The reverse features the Barbados Coat of Arms, depicting a dolphin and a pelican. On the shield is the bearded fig tree, which is the reason the island's name came to be. The island was called "Los Barbados," which means "The Bearded Ones."" The banner below reads "Pride and Industry." (Source)

Specifications
Purity: .9999
Weight: 1/5oz
Diameter: 20mm
Mintage: 5,000

If you have a chance to pick one of these up, I highly recommend it! They're even better looking in-hand!

Each month, I give away a $1 Goldback or 4 HBD. The winner gets to choose.
Note: Some countries may have prohibitively expensive shipping or delivery, which may not be feasible. I reserve the right to award the winner 4 HBD instead of a Goldback at my discretion.

Not sure what a goldback is? Click here to find out more about them.

How The Reblog Lottery Works

  1. Follow me. (If you're not a follower, you won't be entered into the drawing)
  2. Look for "Reblog lottery" in any of my post titles.
Make sure it's for the current contest month, and is 6 days old or less, and click "Reblog".
(Reblogging an older post will not get you an entry)
  3. An upvote is appreciated but not required, and does not give you additional entries.
  4. You'll get one entry for each qualifying article you reblog this way.
  5. At the end of the month I'll enter your name into the drawing and pick a winner at random.
Note: Bots are not eligible to win

Nice gold! Which mint are they using these days? I love the color of gold...

Thanks! I believe they're still using Scottsdale Mint for this. I hear you. These look good in silver, but really pop when made in gold! 😁

That one I requested through the IML. Bullion Brother has a wholesaler account with Scottsdale, so I was able to snag two of them. 😁
