Before I go on with my post this beautiful day,i want specially thank @merit.ahama for giving us these amazing topics, these will enable us to share our experiences and also learn from each other on how to handle certain situations.
It is very important to note that we have all gone through different or most times same experiences, BUT they way and manner we handle them really matters,so we don't get hurt by people's view about us.

Why misunderstanding me?

When i saw this topic,i was excited because this will enable me share my experience on how people think that I am a rich woman,that i have everything at the tip of my fingers.hahaha
Maybe because I am chubby,i don't even allow people to notice when i am under financial strains,i smile always,take beautiful pictures and post on my social media platform 😁,so they feel this woman too get money.

To the extent that the person that calls herself my friend will tell me that " You know i can't compare myself with you because you be rich woman,you are just pretending, please spend this money", i will just smile and laugh over it,but i know where the shoe hurts.

This my experience happened recently.My cousin called me and was like "Aunty please assist me financially,i want to relocate to the UK,i know you are capable..
I asked him,so you think i have that kind of money and i am still here in Nigeria??? and the boy amazed me with his response; "Aunty you are very okay in Nigeria,na you no want to relocate, because you get this money...I just smiled,told him we would talk later and ended the call.

Sometimes I ask myself why do people think that I am so rich and I don't need help... Please is there anyone on this planet that does not need help of any kind???.

My extended family has made it a point of duty that anytime there is any financial issue,i will be the first person they will call....why?
And when I don't give them what they wants,they will automatically term me as being "tight fisted or to stingy"😁, but i can't give out what i don't have.Although i go out of my way to render the very little assistance that is within my capability.

People's misconception about me has made me to cut down what i post on other social media platforms.
But the amazing thing, is that I don't get help when i am in need.
If i should ask of help from my people,they just believe I am making jest of them.
In all of this, i have made up my mind that i will not go beyond my capability.
