I somehow "worked around" the last challenge. Not that I didn't taste the new beer from the microbrewery, but I was so tired from work that I wasn't in the mood to write.

Tohle slovo mi připomíná hornického skřítka „permoníka“. A vlastně proč ne, Pivo totiž pochází z minipivovaru v západočeském Sokolově. Tedy z města, kde se dlouhou dobu těží hnědé uhlí. Naštěstí však hnědouhelný prach nepoužívají k barvení piva :-).
Světlý, 12° ležák plzeňského typu, 4,6% volného alkoholu.

Musím říct, že toto pivo mi zachutnalo od prvního doušku. Na špičce jazyka sladová chuť a takřka vzápětí příjemná hořkost chmele na kořeni jazyka. Obě chuti se vzájemně doplňovaly a společně i odeznívaly. Mým laickým pohledem opravdu dobře vyvážená chuť. Pro jistotu jsem vypil dvě 0,5l láhve. Jednu na ochutnávku
I have to say that I liked this beer from the first sip. A malty taste on the tip of the tongue and almost immediately the pleasant bitterness of hops on the root of the tongue. Both flavors complemented each other and faded away together. A really well balanced taste in my layman's view. I drank two 0.5l bottles just to be sure. One for tasting

Měl jsem trochu obavy z té hořkosti, ale byly plané. Žatecký chmel je prostě hořký po bylinkách a na bylinky jsem zvyklý :-).

Chuťově podobné jako Permon. Jen o něco výraznější sladová chuť podtržená hořkostí chmele. Sotva znatelný kávový podtón má na svědomí asi jeden ze sladů, který byl nejspíše více pražený a také dodal pivu jeho medovou barvu.

Similar in taste to Permon. Only a slightly more pronounced malt flavor underlined by the bitterness of hops. The barely noticeable coffee undertone is probably due to one of the malts, which was probably more roasted and also gave the beer its honey color.

Something that fascinated us was the towns that had breweries up North where we found plenty variety, this has slowly arrived here now. Pity we don't travel as freely as we used to.
I didn't have to travel for any beer. Fortunately, these craft beers are also sold in regular stores, so I can choose what to taste.
On the other hand, it must be said that "beer travel" has its charm :-).
Out our local stores these craft beers can add up to being quite expensive, perhaps I am a creature of habit.
In our store, 0.5 l of craft beer costs about two dollars. It's a bit more expensive than regular beers, but the pleasure is worth it :-)
I enjoy every so often, spoil myself when I see something of interest, sadly most are more expensive so I do watch what I spend. Have a wonderful day!

I recently found out that some Czech microbreweries have their own e-shop. It's one of the ways to buy their beer, even if it's far for a personal purchase.

Well enjoy it if your decide to try a different way of having it delivered to you. Sometimes more remote places or to far to travel to it would be worth trying.
That delivery is an interesting option. In my case, it's not the distance, but the lack of time.
