I take my time to think about making something useful for the home, then it came to my mind to make a cushion with a dual purpose, that is, to decorate and at the same time to place the control and the cell phone. I start to look for the materials, which by the way are few. I get organized in my sewing corner and start to take advantage of the blue jeans, from which I used the boots and the back pockets, the stuffing I had because I damaged a bedspread, I kept it to give it another use and the rest were basic sewing materials. A cushion with dual purpose, I thought it was a great idea, it decorates and at the same time serves to have at hand the control of the TV and cell phone. With great enthusiasm I started the project which I sewed by hand, here are the details.

Casi que puedo decir estaba esperando el concurso, soy amante de darle un segundo uso a las prendas de blue jeans pasadas de moda que siempre quedan rezagadas en el closet, de los cuales he hecho bolsos, bandoleros, porta vasos, agarradores de olla, delantales entre otras cosas, pues me apasiona reciclar. Me tomo mi tiempo en pensar hacer algo útil para el hogar, ahí se me vino a la mente hacer un cojín con un doble propósito, es decir, que sirva para decorar y a la vez para colocar el control y el celular. Comienzo a buscar los materiales, por cierto son pocos. Me organizo en mi rincón de costura y a sacarle provecho al blue jeans, del que usé las botas y los bolsillos de la parte trasera, el relleno lo tenia porque se me daño un cubrecama, lo guardé para darle otro uso y los demás eran materiales básicos de costura. Un cojín con doble propósito, me pareció genial la idea, decora y a la vez sirve para tener a la mano el control de la t.v y el celular. Con gran entusiasmo di comienzo al proyecto el cual cosí a mano, a continuación paso a dar los detalles.

• Cut the boots of the blue jeans to the desired size, and cut the hem of the boot.
