20 dollar silver train /Reblog lottery
In this post I share a nice coin that I add to the collection, I got this one from my local coin shop for 10% over spot, It's the first coin from this set they looks pretty nice but its unfortunately only sterling silver (92.5% silver) but it got this cool holographic bit on it, @kerrislravenhill actually shared her own coin from this series recently but she got a ship one and it looks much cooler.

hmm that's the difference of sterling silver! I don't know why I have never searched around to look at the difference! So Fine silver is 99%?

Yeah not just coins Sterling silver is often used in jewelry and was often used for cutlery back in the days. At least in Canada to be considered fine it needs to be at least 99.9% for silver and at least 99.5% for gold and platinum
Back on my days that i used to shop more coins bought a lot of sterling ones lol but never checked the meaning! At least now I know ;)
