The one place I'd love to travel to.....qc prompt #62

It's swell to be with you all again.... greetings!

Have you ever wished to just leave everything behind and travel around the world and get infused with diverse cultures, get to eat several dishes and try out different cultural outfits? I had such a desire, when I was younger but life's circumstances kind of made me bury those desires deep within me. However, with this post, I get to share one place in the world that I would love to travel to and explore it's constituents.

Can you guess which country it is... 🥁... it's France yay!

Please don't blame me, my love for France is on a higher pedestal. France...the country of arts and love... awwwn!

Whom would I travel with?

Before you jump the boat, let me say that it's not my "boyfriend" or "fiance" neither is it my "husband" because all the above mentioned are non existent...well at least for now,hehe.

Right now at present, if I could go anywhere with anyone, that person would be my daughter.

Why this person?

First off, she's my flesh and blood. I have watched her grow from when she was a tiny little tot till now that she's a teenager. We've always had each other and I wouldn't want it any other way. She's my ride or die folks. Sometimes I try to imagine what my life would look like had she not been in it and the only answer I could fathom was that my life would be stale and probably boring.

Raising her as a parent has opened my me up to several opportunities and adventures of learning. I strive harder each day and that's so that I could one day leave behind a legacy for her. I am so grateful that I got a kid that's so understanding and acts too mature for her age as well.

The only disappointment I have, is towards time...time moves so fast and now she's all grown up. Soon I will have to get a gun to start chasing away....boys (I hope it doesn't come to that,😁).

She Is the best person for this adventure. I believe it would strengthen our bond more and help us gain some levels of experience together.

Why France?

I have always had a fantasy about being a French lady. Maybe it's the ball gowns worn by their females or the balls they host or most probably the cuisine and wine, whichever it is, France is it for me.

The best part of France is it's capital, the city of love itself...Paris.

All the books I've read and french based movies that I've watched as a teen back in the day about Paris, fueled that desire the more.

I like their language as well as it sounds so romantic and interesting to the ears. For arts, I'm sure France is the country to explore as you are free to explore arts...do you know that France has the largest art museum in the world? Yes the musuem is called Louvre musuem Sweet isn't it...?!

Another thing I love about France is their culinary skills. Oh they are all foodies just like me. It is a known fact that every day two cook books are released. Cook books of different recipes. Plus there is a strong policy against food wastage. Excess foods are donated to the less privileged, helping to curb hunger rate in the country.

I could go on and on about what and what endears me to France but let me share the this last piece with you. That's on the various beautiful artifacts and landmarks found in the country. There is the Eiffel tower, I love you wall, Temple of love;and the Notre Dame Cathedral (it's special because of the book titled "hunch back of Notre Dame").

The people of France are warm people ready to fill you up with love if you let them. They stand United to protect their own. Such a society,is truly a nice place to habitate.
