Favourite vacation spot. Qc prompt #83

Pleasant greetings everyone!

Vacation time is my all time happy time. My ears stand on edge with frantic anticipation when it senses that a vacation is going to be announced at work. Happiness becomes both my neighbour and shadow when its vacation time. Don't blame me for being all over the moon at the mention of vacation, think of the fact that I would not have to wake up early to rush to work or other work related businesses.

One other factor that makes vacation time a happy time is the fact that I get to see many interesting places cos I have the time for it. There are places beyond our borders that just blow one's mind away. They look and feel so magical and ethereal, simply out of this world, making every moment spent there a dream come true and so surreal.

My favourite vacation spot no matter where I travel to is the beach. Yep, take me to any where as long as that place got a beach. Florida, Miami, Hawaii, Brazil..... these places are future destination places, all thanks to their amazing beaches.

The splash of the water on the shore, the roar of the waves 🌊, the vastness of that enormous body of water that makes one think that the sky is meeting the ocean and the comforting blue of the water that matches the skies, all combine to make the beach my favourite spot for a vacation. I like to chase the waves and get chased in return, feel my feet being dragged underneath the angry waves and I also like to sun bath close to the shore too.

One of my dreams is to buy a house close to the sea, where I can have direct and unlimited access to the beach any time, anyday, I sure wouldn't get tired of that big mass of water.

There's this kind of serenity I notice when I am at the beach, sitting on the shore and just stare endlessly. While it might look like I'm staring endlessly and hopelessly, no one knows what's going on in my mind or what I'm thinking about. I'm amazed to see the workings of a master craftman at work and I'm like, "how did He do it?"

Sometimes I even imagine that I can get the exact length of the ocean simply by staring at it, hehe. Sitting down after chasing the waves kinda gives me clarity of thought and I am able to process some disturbing issues calmly without stress.

Moreso, vacationing with family or friends by the beach gives rise to lots of fun outdoor activities that can be enjoyed by all.

One time such an opportunity came, I and some of my friends took a trip to the beach and it was so fun. Our tent was the liveliest due to how much fun we were having, so much so that e quite reluctant to leave. Good thing is that the beach ain't going nowhere 😁 and it will be there for my next visit.
