Cosmic Creations "HOME" | The Place That I Can No Longer Visit

In this Cosmic Creations, I want to revisit childhood memories to inspire my work. Let's go back to when I was around four or five, where I could still feel the warmth of simple structures, tall grass, lush trees, and a small winding path that felt incredibly cozy.

At that age, doing risky things wasn't scary at all; it was fun! Climbing trees, running barefoot, playing in the forest, and taking a dip in a rushing river were worry-free adventures. It's like the less you know, the better it feels. Even though our house was at the edge of the forest, those were the best memories before moving to a new home a few years later.

As time goes on, age increases, and knowledge grows, everything starts to feel intimidating. I can't go back to that comforting home, can't revisit the place where the world seemed so vibrant. Even when I've returned to that old place a few times, it just doesn't feel the same.

To capture that feeling, I've chosen to depict a tiger in the forest alongside a mysterious figure. In Sumatra, Indonesia, tigers are considered sacred by the locals, referred to as the forest elders or guardians.

While I've never seen a tiger directly, entering a forest demands respect to ensure the forest elders aren't disturbed—or, more accurately, to honor the presence of the tiger.

In this piece, I've created a world where freedom transcends the limits of space and time, bringing back beautiful memories that always linger in the mind.

This is my first attempt at incorporating artificial intelligence images into my artwork. I used the "meditation girl" prompt to create a focused female character.

The inspiration for this piece came after listening to Taylor Swift's "my tears ricochet" from the "folklore" album, one of my favorites. Here, I tried to blend the forest theme with monochromatic colors, reminiscent of how music can be a source of healing.

I've opted for a monochromatic color scheme to evoke a sense of the past, yet I added a touch of blue to convey tranquility and peace.
